But can we please stop throwing the word "stunning" around? It's like, the most used adjective on this site when it comes to articles.

Great art. Costume still looks bad. Mask is even worse. I can't even tell what they were going for with that. And still feels like Marvel is trying to boost an already well-known character's popularity/sales by sticking her with a more iconic name made iconic by another character. Will they do this every summer? Should I expect them to have some less popular character piggyback the monicker popularity of another next year as well? Last year it was the new Morales kid.

Love Ed McGuinness' alternative cover there on the left. Not keen on the interior artwork though.

I'm loving the art but not a big fan of the new costume, but I guess I would be ok with it if they lose the mask...hating the mask!

I like the new costume. It's growing on me. Even the mask. She looks more Kree now, which makes a hell of a lot of sense.

I don't care for it at all. It has a retro look to me from the 40s. Definitely a lack of detail and clarity. I guess Perez and Lin had just spoiled me with detail.

I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I feel more and more poor quality art is being tolerated and that's a shame.

Dexter Soy's art is good, but he has a serious problem drawing feet that he is trying to cover up. Nearly every character has at least one foot hidden.

I'm not trying to hate but am I the only one that's not a fan of over photo shopping the backgrounds? The characters stick out like a sore thumb from the backgrounds and ships. The characters look cartoony and have hard lines, while the backgrounds are to smooth,soft and clean. It just doesn't match up. I'm sure it's good but just not for me.

Are you all [frick]ing blind??? This looks like shit! Anatomy, perspective, emotion, EVERYTHING is sub par and should not be in a Marvel book.

Why did Marvel both have Carol Danvers call herself the new Captain Marvel AND bring the original (Mar-Vell) back from the dead in the Avengers vs. X-Men event?
