USA Today have unveiled the following artwork and details confirming that Matt Fraction will be taking over Fantastic Four and FF as a part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch this November. He will be joined by artists Mark Bagley and Mike Allred respectively.

In Fantastic Four, Mr Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, The Thing and Franklin and Valeria Richards will all be going on an epic journey together through time and space. Apparently, Reed builds a spaceship which will allow them to take a year long trip through the universe that only lasts four minutes in Earth time. So, what happens if something goes wrong and they don't return? Well, ech member of the team picks a replacement and that's where FF comes in.

Ant-Man (Scott Lang), She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters), Medusa and new character Miss Thing (wearing a suit of armour and described by Fraction as a, "Lohan-esque celebutante blonde") are tasked with protecting the Earth when three weeks later, a one-eyed, one-legged, long-haired, half-insane, bearded Johnny Storm walks through the time gateway, shuts it behind him and says, "We can never open this door again." However, it turns out that Ant-Man has his own agenda and will be using his team to get his revenge on Doctor Doom; the man who murdered his daughter. "It's a dark twist on what the Fantastic Four is about — it's the other side of the coin," Fraction says. "We have this Fantastic Four with a specific mission in FF and how can he direct and bring these people along with him?" More details can be found by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.

She Hulk is the one person The Thing could never lick? Sounds like he has some ulterior motives! Dirty bastard!!
musashi - 8/9/2012, 10:12 AM
And I think Miss Thang sounds and looks stupid.
niknik - 8/9/2012, 10:14 AM
Miss Thing! BWAA-HAAA-HAAA!!! FAIL!
DanteSparda - 8/9/2012, 10:21 AM
Wow, the FF cover must be the lamest cover of Marvel NOW! I have seen so far, seriously where is the love? Also the Miss Thing character sucks, hope she dies soon.

In the other hand the Fantastic Four cover looks great, Susan looks hotter in that outfit and with shorter hair. And this quote from the description got me really exited:

"...when three weeks later, a one-eyed, one-legged, long-haired, half-insane, bearded Johnny Storm walks through the time gateway, shuts it behind him and says, "We can never open this door again"."

iJackSparrow - 8/9/2012, 10:40 AM
I love Mike Allred. FF art looks stunning to me. Excited for both books.
Shadowelfz - 8/9/2012, 10:40 AM
I love the FF and Matt Fraction is a good writer, but FF comics are shit nowadays. No faith whatsoever until they stop with all these stupid costume/personal changes.

Back to basics, people.
dellamorte1872 - 8/9/2012, 10:41 AM
it all makes sense to the source. but [frick] MS THING that concept sucks and b/c of THAT and THAT alone i wont be reading it!
KillWolfhead - 8/9/2012, 10:44 AM
You're all idiots. Allred is a great artist choice for FF, that cover is a perfect example of his retro style. Im sure the characters chosen (definitely Miss Thing) are a big influence from him. Im sure this book is going to be fun and silly just like X-Statix was years ago.
Bodwulf - 8/9/2012, 10:45 AM
When I look at that first picture. I cannot even figure out what the hell I see.
Fantastic Four 90's, Marvel comics movie made for cheap in the 90's

Well.... I was interested in picking up those titles buuuuut not any more!
ZombieOverEasy - 8/9/2012, 11:04 AM
lol @ everyone not "getting" the Allred art. He's got old-school style, very old school. I dig it, but I get why people don't like it. I'll likely pick this book up just for the art. I miss the X-Force/X-Statics :(.
Rhys - 8/9/2012, 11:05 AM

Seriously, that first cover is just horrendous.
HaroldOfGalactus - 8/9/2012, 11:12 AM
black and white costumes are way cooler and better than the blue ones. FF team line up sucks (medusa and she thing anyways) seriously, why does black bolts wife care to help out here?
HaroldOfGalactus - 8/9/2012, 11:13 AM
also scott has a lady face and looks like a flat chested ant woman
kitboy33 - 8/9/2012, 11:14 AM
Sorry, there's a difference between retro old school, and coloring book. That FF cover looks like a coloring book.
I've personally been collecting since 1973, and although it may be an attempt at getting back to the days of yesterday, it falls short.
AlcoholicA - 8/9/2012, 11:26 AM
What.....the......fück......is going on in that FF cover. Do ALL the kids die? Medusa doesn't care to be by the side of BlackBolt anymore? Miss Thang????!!!!
Lazarus - 8/9/2012, 11:26 AM
Holy crap... That FF cover is just .. horrible. It's worse than someone beating a kitten, with a puppy.
DanteSparda - 8/9/2012, 11:29 AM
LOL Reed looks like is about to grab Susan's ass, though I don't understand why he didn't.
limer99 - 8/9/2012, 11:34 AM
This may be the gayest thing I've ever seen...
deepee3 - 8/9/2012, 11:46 AM
"Miss Thing?" You gotta be friggin' kidding me.....
BIGBMH - 8/9/2012, 11:52 AM
FF looks pretty awful.
OrganizedChaos - 8/9/2012, 11:53 AM
ok....WTF...but to be honest, the concept of this new FF team looked good until i saw Miss Thing....that just killed my interest....
marvel72 - 8/9/2012, 11:53 AM
the fantastic four looks fine but the ff looks f*ckin shit.
CapFan79 - 8/9/2012, 12:00 PM
I dig the white costumes. They should use them for the reboot to look more modern and less Hanna Barbera
ralfinader - 8/9/2012, 12:08 PM
FF - The first real turd of Marvel's latest event.
95 - 8/9/2012, 12:09 PM
I'll give it a shot — but I'm not liking it so far.
scmittydude - 8/9/2012, 12:27 PM
For once grif, I agree with you
BizarroGrif - 8/9/2012, 12:42 PM
FF cover looks like something off of [frick]ing Adult Swim!
SymbioteSpidey1 - 8/9/2012, 12:46 PM
oh dear lord
breakUbatman - 8/9/2012, 1:02 PM
Not liking Invisible Woman's quarter breast thing
KaneVonDoom - 8/9/2012, 1:36 PM
