COMICS: First Look At "The New 52" Joker In November's BATMAN Solicitations
It's not quite a full reveal, but the new-look Joker has been revealed on the covers of this November's Batman #14 and Batgirl #14 as a part of the "Death of The Family" crossover which will see the villain return to kill, well, everyone!
It was thought that The Joker might be coming back with an entirely new look later this year, but if the following two images are anything to go by, he'll be wearing the same face as always...albeit with the help of a belt to hold it on (it was actually removed in a shocking twist ending to last September's Detective Comics #1). Comments from Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo had led many to speculate that "The New 52" version of the iconic villain may end up resembling perhaps Heath Ledger's take from 2008's The Dark Knight or something totally different, but it definitely appears as if they've gone for the, "If it ain't broke..." approach to his appearance in the rebooted continuity. However, it should be very interesting to see exactly how the fact he's having to hold his face on with what appears to be a belt will play out in this storyline. Check out a couple of images below and be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
