Announced earlier this year, 007 Legends brings back James Bond to the world of video games just in time for the release of Skyfall on the big screen. As well as a storyline which will take players through that and five of the other most iconic Bond movies (note classic villain 'Jaws' in the teaser image of this article), 007 Legends features the return of fan-favorite single-player Mi6 Ops Missions, which debuted in GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. There will also be a four-player split-screen game mode and online competitive gameplay.

To celebrate the James Bond franchise's 50th anniversary, Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, Inc., will launch gamers back through time to relive a selection of Bond's most iconic and intense undercover missions from the popular Bond film franchise with 007 Legends. A first-of-its-kind Bond video game, 007 Legends features an original, overarching storyline tying together six classic Bond movies, concluding with this year's highly-anticipated 23rd installment - SKYFALL - to offer the most diverse Bond gaming experience yet! As with the feature films, 007 Legends equips players with state-of-the-art spy gadgets, an arsenal of weapons, including Bond's signature Walther PPK, and sleek vehicles as they jet off to exotic locations and utilize Bond's quick wits, class and style to take down notorious villains and their brutal henchmen, perform impressive stunts, and of course...mingle with gorgeous Bond women.

Pretty sick if you are a Bond video game fan, I however am not.
BattlinMurdock - 8/17/2012, 3:42 PM
Can you only be Daniel Craig's Bond, though?
jjk2814 - 8/17/2012, 3:44 PM
Exciting!...would be much more exciting if it didn't seem to focus on some of the weakest of the Bond movies.

^ ages ago, but not in the trailers, one of the devs said it would be free dlc after the release of the film so as not to spoil.

graphically it looks a little outdated

marvel72 - 8/17/2012, 4:28 PM

TheSoulEater - 8/17/2012, 4:43 PM
Yay!!

If this is anything as good as N64's Goldeneye, I'm buying it.
ShadesAtKnightII - 8/17/2012, 6:23 PM
Daniel Craig's Bond vs Jaws. Badass.
biggcess - 8/17/2012, 6:43 PM
should give you the option to choose your "Bond" (Connery, Moore, Dalton, etc.) or create your own. Other than that looks like a definite purchase.

The games looks like a step up from Goldeneye: Reloaded.

I will say, I'm kind of disappointed they went with LTK, instead of TLD. And for Pierce Brosnan's movies, I was hoping they would go with TWINE.

1. Moonraker - Roger Moore
2. OHMSS - George Lazenby
3. LTK - Timothy Dalton
4. DAD - Pierce Brosnan
5. Goldfinger(fingers crossed) or Thunderball - Sean Connery
6. Skyfall(free DLC) - Daniel Craig

Bodwulf - 8/17/2012, 8:06 PM
Bonds, James Bonds, The men of action.
hope420 - 8/17/2012, 8:31 PM
I'm down for the Moonraker levels! That was the first Bond movie I saw in a theater.
Canon108 - 8/17/2012, 9:27 PM
If it were up to me I'd do...

1. The Spy Who Loved Me
2. Tomorrow Never Dies
3. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
4. The Living Daylights
5. You Only Live Twice
6. Skyfall

I think for the Connery film they're doing 'You Only Live Twice.' Donald Pleasence is credited in the cast on IMDB which likely means they're using recordings from that film.
OhGawDuhhh - 8/17/2012, 9:29 PM
Die Another Day!

I love that movie! First '007' film I ever saw!

The other Brosnan bond films have already been adapted to video game form so yeah, it makes sense.
Canon108 - 8/17/2012, 9:37 PM
But Die Another Day is considered by most fans as the 'Batman and Robin' of the Bond franchise.
ethan301 - 8/17/2012, 10:07 PM
They should make a sequel to Everything or Nothing. That Bond game is sooo good it's almost like a proper Bond movie.
BuckyCap - 8/17/2012, 10:17 PM
I love all of the Bond films. I haven't played a Bond game since Goldeneye, but I believe I am going to get this one. This one looks like it is going to have quite a bit of content.
Dragun - 8/17/2012, 10:22 PM
You expect me to talk, no Mr. Bond I expect you to die! Goldfinger
Robert - 8/17/2012, 10:45 PM
Graphically I'm not impressed with the game. Even Metal Gear Solid is better looking than this game and it's an older game.
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/18/2012, 4:31 AM
When there comes a third person Bond game with graphic´s of Uncharted 3 and in which you can choose any of the Bond´s then im in. :)
zachman2013 - 8/18/2012, 9:08 AM
casino royale!! one of the best bonds ever crtitics and audience recieved.
StSharp - 8/18/2012, 1:24 PM

OhGawDuhhh - 8/18/2012, 9:02 PM
They also recast Halle Berry in 'Die Another Day'!

WTF!?

I know they replaced Brosnan with Craig but WTF, we're talking about Halle Berry here.
