Chloe Moretz Spotted On The Set Of CARRIE In Prom Dress And Drenched In Blood
Following the release of the first official stills from the big screen remake of Stephen King's Carrie, Chloe Moretz (Dark Shadows, Kick-Ass) has been spotted on set in both her prom dress and later covered from head to toe in dried blood. Check it out!
Thanks to Just Jared, we have the following photos from the set of Carrie in Toronto, Canada. As you can see, they seem to feature a before and after of the first official still released earlier this week which saw Chloe Moretz covered in blood in a recreation of that iconic scene. Click HERE to check it out if you missed it. Sissy Spacek (the star of the original 1976 movie) has also been spotted on set, leading to speculation that she will be making a cameo appearance. As for why exactly Moretz - who should start work on Jeff Waldow's Kick-Ass next month - is seemingly sporting a bald cap, perhaps the actress donned a wig for these bloody scenes? Sound off with your thoughts and theories below.
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.
