COMICS: First Look At Marvel NOW! Series RED SHE-HULK #58

Thanks to Comic Book Resources, we have a first look at the retitled Marvel NOW! series, Red She-Hulk #58. Written by Jeff Parker and featuring art by Carlo Pagulayan, the series will put the spotlight on Bruce Banner's ex-wife Betty Ross.

I don't get the appeal. This is she hulk, but she's red? Why would anyone be interested in betty banner...thats like giving lois lane superpowers.

So this is probably my 567890th question about marvel NOW!
But is every marvel character getting a new marvel NOW series?
Cuz I haven't really heard anything other than uncanny avengers, avengers, captain America and I think that's about it (I'm excluding those teasers with one word on them cuz I have no [frick]ing clue lol)
Unless they are just waiting a couple more months till they announce more

eh I still don't get the fact that Betty Ross can turn into a hulkie as well...seems to cheapen the entire Hulk....eh who am I kidding..we've lived with her and Red Hulk....at this point does it matter?

and yes ReNeMysterio619, I agree with you 2000 percent.

Kind of miffed they're not continuing Red Hulk instead. I actually like Thunderbolt Ross as a hulk. Parker's run has been pretty good. Betty is okay as a she hulk, but honestly, why not just use the original She Hulk in that series?

Is that machine man in last panel, and every panel that ive read that red she hulk is in just makes her out like she's always on her period, just make a regular she hulk book again, we to many hulks out there.

Hulk.
Rhulk.
She hulk.
She Rhulk.
Skarr.
Lyra (hulks daughter)
A-bomb.
Hulk animals on hulk island.
Gamma, the hulk dog.
Ok that last one I made up but give it time.

I look forward to the point when we have a blue hulk, a purple hulk, a yellow hulk, a black hulk and a white hulk, and she-hulks in all those colors. And hell, while they're at it, they could throw in a 'hulk corps' and a planet where they all get their unlimited hulk-like power from. That would be just smashing (no pun intended).

No, but seriously this is horrible. They should get back to making real characters, instead of slapping new colors on old heroes and calling the mutant product a 'nemesis'. F&%$.

this is a great idea, everyone knows that female heroes sell more than male heroes. plus, people love derivative characters and she is a derivative of hulk, red hulk AND she hulk.

so honestly there is no way this book could fail

I LOVE THIS BETTY, I LIKE THAT SHE'S NOT A LIABILITY ANYMORE TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH. BUT THERES DIFFERENCES WITH THIS SHE HULK AND THE OTHER WICH I LIKE TOO, A SHE HULK EITHER RED GREEN OR WHATEVER OTHER COLOR THAT SURFACES IS ALWAYS SEXY.....I LIKE IT.

@ Marvel 87 - No, word is Ross/Rulk will be a part of the new Marvel Now THUNDERBOLTS relaunch.. at least that's what Jeff Parker hinted

Why couldn't they just upgrade and bring back the Harpy? Red Hulk is dumb enough. I wish Ben Grimm would get another cosmic power up like back in the day and take the Red Hulk to school. I'm old, and I don't like change. GET OFF MY LAWN, RED HULK(s)!

Hey look! It's Movie Cap. So wheres the real Cap? Seriously though, the tail now wags the dog. The films now dictate what the books should look like and do. So wrong.
