These watchmen prequels have been awful to mediocre at best dc has been really sucking lately. batman swamp thing aquaman and green lantern have been excellent but that's it

The best part about this series in particular is Darwyn Cooke. I've read the first two issues of the Minutemen and its not bad. To compare it to Watchmen directly is wrong. Enjoy it for what it is.

It's like reading a current Batman comic and comparing every storyline to the Frank Miller era. Its not a fair assessment.

Actually, before Watchmen, has been pretty good. We get to see how corrupt and pretentious the minutemen were. Also, the comedian issues were Awesome. I love how he had a relationship with Kennedy.
