New OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL POSTER Teases 'The Wicked Witch'

New artwork has been released for Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great And Powerful, and the first of the three part piece features 'The Wicked Witch'. However, is it Mila Kunis or Rachel Weisz?! Hit the jump to check it out.

"Oz The Great and Powerful" imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful Wizard of Oz but into a better man as well.

Wow, I'm really excited for this movie, it's got one of my favorite directors (Sam Raimi) and one of my favorite actors (James Franco). Both worked together well in the Spider-man films, and I liked Alice and Wonderland (which Raimi produced) Rise of the Planet of Apes (which Franco plays in). So I really can't wait for this film. Looks fantastic.

Beautiful poster!.

Bangin' body on the witch!, big nose aside I'd so do that flying monkey style!.

Good cast on the film, hopefully the screenplay will make this the next best Oz-based creative effort next to 'Wicked'.

If I had to bet money on who is going to be the wicked witch, it would be Kunis, because her role seems to incident to be just a good witch. If anything Rachel Weisz is likely the witch who gets a house landed on her when Dorothy arrives from Kansas.

I've never read a positive comment from you. Have you seen the movie yet? How can you know wethers its great, good, or a waste?

Spiderman 1 and 2 were good movies, the latter great. What happened with 3 had little if anything to do with Raimi's skill as a director. His track record proves that.

If it follows the book, Weisz (whose character's name is Evanora) will be the Wicked Witch of the East (who will later be killed by Dorothy's house). Kunis (whose charcter's name is Theodora) will be the Wicked Witch of the West (who will later want revenge on Dorothy).

My guess would be that Kunis spends a good part of the film being "good," and is turned bad (and green) towards the middle or end.

Mila Kunis is playing Theodora aka The Wicked Witch of the West.

Rachel Weisz is Evanora, The Wicked Witch of the East who gets killed by Dorothy's house.

I'm not convinced by this movie. Also two of the biggest douchebags Zach braff and james franco are in this shitfest.
