Jarvisjackrabbit - 11/29/2012, 5:06 PM
Well, he's clearly a white guy.

@ SteveRogersSon

I know right? I like Miles and his in the Ultimate universe but tossing out Parker in each???? Im not liking that. I really don't want Miguel O'Hara, he just never grew on me. The claws were cool but after the first few issues I dropped it.
RedandBlue - 11/29/2012, 5:19 PM
@ Crash

Yeah, I really enjoy Miles as well. And yeah, I'd rather it not be Miguel O'Hara.
Funsize - 11/29/2012, 5:26 PM
Spidey's screwed
JoshWilding - 11/29/2012, 5:33 PM
I think this confirms that Peter Parker is still Spider-Man. Dan Slott said "Age of Ultron" takes places BEFORE issue #700, but it clearly takes place SIX issues into Superior Spider-Man. The "Age of Ultron" art we've seen featuring Peter was clearly AFTER Ultron's takeover, so I don't think you could argue that THAT was from before issue #700...

That artwork is really something.

Good thing I'm subscribed to the series that tie-in to Age Of Ultron(F4 & SSM) because I'm not buying tie-ins this time.
BIGGGHEADTJ - 11/29/2012, 5:49 PM
Why cant people just wait till the issues of Superior Spider-man come out then pass judgement upon it????
ric2010 - 11/29/2012, 5:51 PM
morpheus is Spiderman.
BackwardGalaxy - 11/29/2012, 6:18 PM
I like how the tears in his costume make it look like a shredded cape. I don't know if that's intentional, something anyone else sees besides me, and/or if I'm just seeing what I want to see... but I like it.
beane2099 - 11/29/2012, 6:18 PM
You're all wrong. The new Spidey is Peter Parker Sr. Eat it! Anyways, I sure hope that during this Age of Ultron business we see what the other villains are doing. Cause I hardly think you'd see Doom, Magneto, Red Skull, Apocalypse, etc etc. go "Yeah, okay. His turn to run things."
Comicguy27 - 11/29/2012, 6:38 PM
when does this come out?
Comicguy27 - 11/29/2012, 6:38 PM
I hear next year, is that correct/
ATrueHero1987 - 11/29/2012, 7:06 PM
2012 hasn't really been Spidey's year. First was that shitty Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon(I HEARD it got better but I'm still not going to check it out), then he had an ok movie tie-in game to an ok movie and now this...smdh
sciencefriction - 11/29/2012, 7:15 PM
What's up with those two black dots on his right shoulder? It seems like some sort of intentional marking and not an injury or poor shading. Great art though, it's got my curious to be sure..
blackster - 11/29/2012, 7:20 PM
marvel and dc are both run by a bunch of talentless hacks nowadays. snyder's batman's the only series i read that doesn't make me wanna scalp myself.
thalidomide - 11/29/2012, 7:41 PM
Ohhhh shhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiii....

AGE OF ULTRON!!
ReillyParker - 11/29/2012, 8:01 PM
DAMNNIT!!!! I've been waiting forever for Checchetto to come back to Spider-man, now he jumps back on when it's NOT Peter... sonuvabitch...
OtakuPapi - 11/29/2012, 8:34 PM
i remember when tie in used to actually be tie in that affected the canon. They weren't just side stories from the main canon!Sometimes i'm just like when did this happen, or did this story not even happen at all!
superotherside - 11/29/2012, 8:37 PM
I really hate those claws!
TheAbomination - 11/29/2012, 9:17 PM
Looks sick!! Age of Ultron is just one more Marvel-related thing to look forward to in 2013!!
Astro - 11/29/2012, 9:48 PM
Just proves you only need the suit. Like Batman anyone can be Spider man. Hell there gonna Re-do Frank (The Punisher) shortly.
Minato - 11/29/2012, 10:39 PM

AmazingFantasy - 11/29/2012, 10:47 PM
Badass.
SpiderFan16 - 11/29/2012, 11:41 PM
@Josh

That actually is a pretty valid point... but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
SuperSomething616 - 11/30/2012, 2:02 AM
Hmmm so from other preview art from the main AU series we've seen Peter in his regular Spidey outfit...

And now we see this...what does this mean?

Potentially that Peter survives #700 of amazing but retires from permanent Spidey duty...meaning he'll step in when he needs to and is still an active Avenger...leaving the street level stuff to Superior?
spidey23435 - 11/30/2012, 4:37 AM
I find it funny that people here think that Peter Parker will no longer be spiderman. Really think about it people you think Marvel with a new Spiderman movie coming out ( I know its still Sony but the increased sales the movie will potentially generate) that they will not have the main character from the movie still active in the comics. If this is in fact not peter parker than it sure will be by the time TASM 2 is coming out. But feel free to act like a bunch of whining babies about the injustice it is. lol
mlightell4 - 11/30/2012, 8:10 AM
Um guys take a look at spideys fingers arent those claws like miguel ohara i think spidey is spidey 2099 here.....
Cookiedodger - 11/30/2012, 8:18 AM
Superior Spider-man is an amalgamation of Peter Parker and Otto Octavius. At the End of Amazing 700, Peter's consciousness is revived but is unable to completely purge Octavius. Their personalities merge.
You heard it here first.
CaptainObvious - 11/30/2012, 9:16 AM
Ways To Make Me Read Spider-Man Again:
1) Reverse the deal with Mephisto. (Reverse, not recton)
2) Kill off Aunt May or remove her from Peter's life.
3) Write Peter like an adult and not a 16 year old trapped in an adult's body.
4) Have Peter and Mary Jane be a married couple again.
5) Keep Peter in the Spider-Man role.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 12/1/2012, 1:03 AM
@CaptainObvious agreed. Completely.
