Lmfao!!! That ending was some long tiring shit, in the book it flows seamlessly, in the movie, you just praying for it to end already. As soon as the credits ended, mothe[frick]ers sprinted for the bathroom, rofl.

the avengers one was the only one i thought was entirely funny while making quality points

Haha watch as they fight for the one ring, which does nothing but turn you into an invisible crack addict!!

Every movie has faults. Not every movie is on AFI's top ten films of 2012 Intruder ;-).
JDUKE25 - 12/13/2012, 10:58 AM
The Brokeback Mount Doom thing was pretty funny.
Equivocal - 12/13/2012, 11:09 AM
MEGA - LOL
Fogs - 12/13/2012, 11:14 AM
Hehehe Lindsey Lohan.

@Intruder - yeah, they tried hard indeed. But I guess it ended up being funny.
Knightrider - 12/13/2012, 11:19 AM
It maybe a promotional video for New Zealand, but I won't complain as it is awesome seeing my country on the big screen, which doesn't happen that often.

Overall not bad I found this one either had me laughing or bored there was no middle ground.

My only thing I dislike with these is, i know it is a joke, but sometimes the joke isn't funny as it is more them missing the point rather than having a valid issue to raise.
TheOneWhoKnocks - 12/13/2012, 11:33 AM
@intruder, whatever makes you sleep at night...
OdinsBeard - 12/13/2012, 12:00 PM
im torn on these things.. half the jokes are great, witty, smart and really funny. the other half are just dumb gripes that can be leveled against any movie. it's like where's the line? once you have little hobbits and wizards and elves there are some things you just need to let go. and half of the things they rip on are answered and addressed during the movie if you just paid attention (TDKR, Prometeus) and i do think they run on too long.

not trying to shart on anyone's parade, i do think they're funny sometimes. just wanted to speak my peace.
OdinsBeard - 12/13/2012, 12:01 PM
Knightrider knows whats up.
JoeMomma29 - 12/13/2012, 12:10 PM
Awwwwww crap I never though I would see myself agreeing with Intruder but he is right not much faults to find in this trilogy!

Quasimodo - 12/13/2012, 12:13 PM
Not really funny. TASM and TDKR were the best ones.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 12/13/2012, 12:24 PM
This had the worst points. Only funny ones I have scene from them are Avengers and The Dark Knight.
ComfortablyNumb - 12/13/2012, 12:38 PM
While funny I think Honest Trailers are pretty stupid. Most of the complaints they level against a movie are unfounded and only there for the sake of trying to be funny. Some people just have too much free time on their hands.
GuardianAngel - 12/13/2012, 1:22 PM
Would've been funnier if he said " Neal Patrick Harris as Legolas". But really funny. Probably my favorite one.
Azazel1 - 12/13/2012, 1:38 PM
I disagree, the best one was Prometheus and the Twilight ones
Durf - 12/13/2012, 1:56 PM
That was pretty funny. I loved the invisible crack addict thing
sinestrosmight - 12/13/2012, 2:08 PM
"Broke back mount doom" hahahahaha
CapsUnknownSidekick - 12/13/2012, 2:23 PM
The Gweneth Paltrow thing made me chuckle, just a bit.
Azrael725 - 12/13/2012, 3:05 PM
i lost it when he said Lindsey Lohan haha
marantaz - 12/13/2012, 3:37 PM
Yeah, it was funny, but not very original... what few faults there are in these movies have already been said and dismissed as minor. And they made their own mistake in this trailer... they said that Gollum was portrayed by Lindsey Lohan, but they'd already made the joke that the actor playing Gollum was now stuck playing the role for life. If they can't remember a joke they told in a two minute trailer, I think we can excuse the director for a few missteps in a ten hour trilogy!
LucasMend - 12/13/2012, 3:47 PM
Sorry but can't laugh at that voice. Wtf happened to the other guy?
titansupes - 12/13/2012, 4:36 PM
^He got called in for a tour of duty (he's in the military). They explained this in the video description (or in one of the other recent ones).
GodzillaKart - 12/13/2012, 4:47 PM
Well, this sucked because they chose not to point out what actually sucked about Peter Jackson's mostly good but sometimes terrible adaptation:

Turning Cate Blanchett, one the the best living actresses, into one of the worst special effects in movie history.

Robbing the character Boromir of his great moment of redemption in order to let him be just a fluffer for Viggo Boringston in one of the lamest "kick ass" scenes only a half-wit could enjoy.

Giving half of Gandalf's dialogue to Viggo Boringston.

Eliminating all subtlety with the character of Sauroman.

Etc. Etc. Etc.
Shadowelfz - 12/13/2012, 6:05 PM
Hilarious and mostly true. Still can't deny that these are fantastic movies!
Maximus101 - 12/13/2012, 8:25 PM
The trilogy was average for me, never found them all that good.
SageMode - 12/13/2012, 10:31 PM
I busted out laughin at "Fat Rudy". Hahaha
blackster - 12/14/2012, 11:46 AM
@Maximus101

sigh.

let me guess. nolan is the only one who could've made it worth shit, right?

[frick]ing nolanite trash.
