Mike Deodato's (New Avengers) variant cover for Dan Slott and Ryan Stegman's The Superior Spider-Man #1 pays homage to Steve Ditko's iconic cover for 1964's The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 which featured Spidey facing off against the Sinister Six. Check it out!

I finally read Amazing Spider-Man 700, and I'm happy to say that I am looking forward to what Superior does, but I'm not holding my breath.

it will NEVER be nothing like the Classic Spiderman from that era !

I read #700 and it could've been a great issue but I can't get over that atrocity called OMD !!!

I love how Slott just completely undermined himself by playing his hand already. This was supposed to shake up the "status quo" of comics and we got... another story arc of someone being trapped inside their own mind.

So we needed that utterly disrespectful POS ending in 700 and 15.1 why? It literally just got undermined with no emotional build-up.

When WILL Danny-boy learn to write properly?
