Maybe.... you could have.... one book per character.

Is it driving anyone else just a little insane that Death of the Family is encompassing all of the core Bat Family, yet this title and Dark Knight remain unaffected. Are these titles not a part of the regular continuity?

Because for one there have always been Detective Comics and Batman so those are automatic. Then as far as Batman and Robin you need that book for people that like to see him and Robin together since there are alot of people that like bats solo.Batman inc is out because its the conclusion to the big epic stories Morrison is telling. The Dark Knight came out to really showcase the art of David Finch as well as to coincide with the Dark knight movie.

I also see the Dark knight book as more as a book that showcases the villains instead of a bat story.

Finally, we get to see Traktir and Spidra again; really coming full circle with The Return now. Morrison's entire run has been leading up to this. He did say Dr Hurt was returning at some point too, although I hope he wasn't just referring to those few panels of him in the issue with Gotham being nuked in the future. Poor Damian.
