I was lucky enough to be at the UK press conference for G.I. Joe: Retaliation earlier today at the swanky Corinthia Hotel in London and you can find a selection of photos after the jump. In a brief video, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson also discusses preparing for Wrestlemania and his rivalry with John Cena.
Earlier today, I was lucky enough to be at the press conference for G.I. Joe: Retaliation in London. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see the movie beforehand - so don't expect an early review - but there were some really interesting snippets revealed during the event. Highlights include Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson discussing his preparation for Hercules and clarifying those recent rumours about Star Wars and The Expendables, as well as news on a THIRD G.I. Joe. I'll be bringing that to you later today. For now, here are some photos and a video of the The Rock talking about his match with John Cena at Wrestlemania 29. As you can see, also in attendance today were director John M. Chu and stars Byung-Hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, DJ Controna, Jonathan Pryce, and Ray Stevenson.
In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.
