COMICS: Daredevil's Mystery Antagonist Revealed In Today's Issue #26; Find Out Who It Is Here!
For months now, someone has been tormenting both Matt Murdock AND Daredevil. Who is the mystery antagonist responsible for all the misfortune that's hit 'ol hornhead? Well, it's a very familiar villain with an extremely unique twist. Hit the jump to find out more!
At the very edge of his tether, Daredevil finally snapped and seemingly killed Bullseye in cold blood. This would lead to him becoming possessed by one of the Hand's demons (the Beast), but it has since been firmly established that he was in full control of himself when he took out his murderous archnemesis. Well, in a spoiler-filled interview with USA Today, writer Mark Waid has talked about Bullseye's return in the pages of today's Daredevil #26. "He's too good a villain to lay low forever," the writer told the site. "He's still putting the bull's-eye on Daredevil's head but he's having to do it through pure force of will." Why only force of will? Well, the issue reveals that the villain is fully paralysed and that his only working sense is sight. "I liked the idea of this master assassin now having to turn all that rage and anger into thought because he is not by nature a mastermind. He's a hired gun. But as he himself says to Daredevil, when you can't hear and you can't speak and you can't taste and you can't touch and you're just a prisoner of your own body, you'd be surprised at how much time you have to come up with plans."
