Greg Rucka's critically acclaimed Punisher series was prematurely brought to an end due to the character being made part of the "Marvel NOW!" Thunderbolts series. It was never actually revealed how exactly Frank Castle escaped from the underwater prison that The Avengers put him in at the conclusion of that run. Whether or not Punisher: Trial of The Punisher will provide any answers is unclear, although it certainly doesn't sound that way. Regardless, the two-part story has an A-List creative team and sounds very good indeed. Check it out the cover and solitation below and be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

• The unthinkable happens when the Punisher surrenders himself to police!
• The trial of the century begins as Frank Castle admits to murdering a district attorney!
• Is this the end of the Punisher’s war on crime?
