I knew Nico wasn't read, she had the staff in hand and cast a spell right before her HP bar went to zero!

I'm throughly confused...has anyone read this comic and found out how Arcade has almost god-like powers? Surprised to see Nico from The Runaways in this!

this comic is stupid. the fact none of the avengers are aware these kids are missing is complete bullshit.
wcwpoet - 7/7/2013, 7:47 AM
I didn't know this stupid comic was still even being done. Is anyone even actually reading this?
CaptainKalamari - 7/7/2013, 7:54 AM
the artwork for this is a little too simplistic for my taste but this is interesting stuff

and i think cbm needs an app

Are the Battle Royale people okay with this blatant rip-off?
Minato - 7/7/2013, 12:21 PM
This is more like Mojo World than anything I've seen from Arcade.

Arcade has complete control over the island enviroment, meaning for instance, he can make himself fly by controlling the gravity in the area that he is in.

Which I actually thought was pretty clever, so if he's off the island, he's still a regular guy.

As for no one being aware the kids are missing, that is being covered in the issue directly after this one.

The comic is actually really good. I understand people being turned off by the premise but in comic books characters die. Then come back. And die again.

As Nico's return demonstrates right here.

Ohh thank god. I was gonna be pissed if they left Nico dead. Her, X and Hazmat are they only one's i really care about in here since freakin Darkhawk pulled a douche and dissapeared leaving his freakin raptor crystal behind.

I like this comic. Battle Royale definitely inspired it. And they made homage to it with the first issue's cover. There already was an issue which explained Arcade is not about power. He's about control. He's the Game Master.

Blatant Garbage... waste of a good artist. Just put the Avengers name on it for what freakin reason...?
BIANCONERI - 7/7/2013, 10:57 PM
Can't seem to get interested in this series.
jimoakley666 - 7/8/2013, 12:29 AM
I have no idea who the majority of these characters are. Is that how they can get away with killing one or two of them off? I can think of several extraneous Marvel characters that they could've thrown in to be killed off. Clones, copies, long lost kids, colour variations etc...
dellamorte1872 - 7/8/2013, 12:05 PM
they're all new characters/concepts/ideas i don't follow this series either but i respect MARVEL for making a blatant mini regarding killing off their characters that just cant catch on. surprised METTLE was killed, he was given a lot of publicity as a character id think him, x-223 and hazmet would be the only survivors.
dellamorte1872 - 7/8/2013, 12:06 PM
since METTLEs conception he's been on SEVERAL covers. seems like he was engineered to be a fan fav. i guess he just never caught on
dellamorte1872 - 7/8/2013, 12:11 PM
the idea is to take a bunch of rejects and give them their own series then the most popular will go on. this is MARVELs way of giving up on some characters. genius in a way.
dellamorte1872 - 7/8/2013, 12:20 PM
like an in continuity EXILES in a small sense. BLINK should be there. she is def a mutant who deserves to be deemed an AVENGER def over SUNSPOT maybe not CANNONBALL, BEAST or WANDA MAXIMOFF but def in THAT "league"
