Why didn't he use THAT voice??
Mrsinister - 9/21/2013, 5:54 PM
That voice was WAY better then what he used in the movies!
ManCalledSting - 9/21/2013, 5:56 PM
I'm here to kick some ass, and chew bubble gum....and I'm allllll outta bubble gum.
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 9/21/2013, 5:57 PM
Man, Christian looks pretty badass in that suit. Wouldn't have minded seeing him use that thru the film. But the BB suit was just as badass.
SomTingWong - 9/21/2013, 5:57 PM
whoa...just whoa
ManCalledSting - 9/21/2013, 5:58 PM
That voice sound like BB, after that the throat cancer really affected his voice.
ManCalledSting - 9/21/2013, 5:59 PM
I personally didn't like the BB suit, mainly because whether or not he's just starting out, Batman isn't stupid enough to wear a suit that doesn't allow his head to turn.
staypuffed - 9/21/2013, 5:59 PM
"I'M BATMAN" was the only thing that sounded good in this voice. But still - WHAAAAAAAAAAT
TheYoungMan - 9/21/2013, 6:00 PM
His voice sounded the same to me. When he's just talking it's never too over the top. It's just when he was yelling at someone when it got to be a bit much. And even then I didn't mind it. I can't imagine Bale's Batman without that voice now. It's just part of the magic.
NeoBaggins - 9/21/2013, 6:04 PM
Fat Bale in the Kilmer suit? AWESOME!
IM53 - 9/21/2013, 6:06 PM
He should have kept that voice.
SnapperCarr - 9/21/2013, 6:07 PM
Woah.

However Amy Adams would've made a better Rachael than both Gyllenhaal and Holmes.
Grayson7954 - 9/21/2013, 6:09 PM
People asking why he never used that voice? THAT is the voice from begins, which sounded great (some people dont like it) but undeniably better than what was used in Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises. On a side note, besides Heaths excellent performance, Dark Knight, and Dark Knight Rises are still not as good as Batman Begins, because: Batman Begins was a batman movie, not a Joker movie also starring Batman.
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:09 PM
Yes, a slight voice change is great on Batman.
I've said I didn't like Christian Bale as Batman. I shouldn't have said that. More precisely, it wasn't Christian Bale that I didn't like. It was the fact that he didn't seem to have gotten into proper shape for it, and I didn't like the Nolan batsuit on him. Too heavy and rigid looking. And of course, the voice in the movie, especially when shouting, was bad.
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:12 PM
Okay, and I just remembered, I didn't like him as Bruce wayne. He came off as unintelligent in his mannerisms.
DEATHbyEXILE - 9/21/2013, 6:12 PM
Reasonnnn - 9/21/2013, 6:13 PM
Amy Adams >>>
patrat18 - 9/21/2013, 6:14 PM
Day 1.
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:15 PM
@TheJacky lol, he should have stuck with the Gollum voice.
CharacterAssassin - 9/21/2013, 6:15 PM
@Grayson7954... Begins was or if not the best origins movie from scratch ever to come out. It was practical. They didn't go overboard with the story line and the isht made sense from the get go.
Chewtoy - 9/21/2013, 6:21 PM
Yeah, the voice progressively became a parody. Kevin Conroy actually had the better idea... Change the voice for Bruce Wayne instead, and give those lines a lighter, more carefree tone. Of course, a voice actor can more easily do 2 different voices without one of them sounding so forced.
TheWolverine08 - 9/21/2013, 6:22 PM
That was voice was way cooler, and Amy Adams would have been a better love interest.
BANE5000 - 9/21/2013, 6:25 PM
the voice in the audition sounds pretty clear to me as it did in BB, just in TDK and TDKR his voice sounded more rough and forced at times that it was inaduble in some scenes...Now im wondering how Affleck will pull off this voice or will he and Snyder come up with something different?

Just dont pull a Clooney and use the same voice for Batman as u do with Bruce Wayne LoL
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:30 PM
And I also remembered the other reason I didn't like Christian Bale in the part. His face was too thin.
xXkryptoniteXx - 9/21/2013, 6:31 PM
That was not the voice he used in the movie, wtf? I hope Ben Affleck does NOT do that rough voice like Bale did.
sups92 - 9/21/2013, 6:31 PM
Great voice, but Amy Adams?? Hmm interesting.
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:32 PM
Ben Affleck will need to deepen his voice when he's Bruce Wayne, then he'll need to deepen it more when he's Batman. :P
Moohika - 9/21/2013, 6:34 PM
Was it Nolan who decided to go for the throat cancer voice in TDK? I liked the Begins voice.
storyteller - 9/21/2013, 6:35 PM
Conroy had a terrible Batman voice at the start. Listen to the first few episodes and for some reason Batman just talks very slow. Then he cut out that nonsense.

I would say that they shouldn't be afraid of the old suits. The Forever outfit has a great jaw line and the Bat symbol is very expressive.
JediPhilosopher - 9/21/2013, 6:36 PM
They could go electronic voice manipulation with Batfleck. Give him a darth vader. :P
thunderforce - 9/21/2013, 6:36 PM
What does the bat say ?
SpectacularJoShFest - 9/21/2013, 6:36 PM
Batman Begins > The Dark Knight > The Dark Knight Rises.
Even the voice was better in Begins.
MitchConner - 9/21/2013, 6:37 PM
Lol...yea, screen tests are funny...amazing how directors make that crap look good
NeoBaggins - 9/21/2013, 6:39 PM
@BANE5000

When is his voice inaudible? You can hear everything he says in each film.

Other than the occasional idiot thinking he says "Hockey Pants" which doesn't even make sense, any person without a hearing problem can understand him.
AmazingFantasy - 9/21/2013, 6:41 PM
Holy shit
Dandy - 9/21/2013, 6:41 PM
@GamerKT

That is the voice he used. It's just mixed differently and has less base.
TheWolverine08 - 9/21/2013, 6:41 PM
Batman Begins was the best of the Nolan trilogy.
MrReese - 9/21/2013, 6:43 PM
Because I'm Batman!!! XD
Indy - 9/21/2013, 6:43 PM
WOW that was cool. Bale was fat looking little funny but he nailed Batman and giving batman a voice make sense to cover fact he really Bruce Wayne. say what you want about voice but that fact bale creative enough to come up with idea and having logical reason for it make him the best actor to play Batman. If I didn't already own these movie I buy this but not worth prices there asking don't need another set of same movie.
