His highly controversial experiments have made him famous, but they have also made him the prime target of anti-technology extremists who will do whatever it takes to stop him. However, in their attempt to destroy Will, they inadvertently become the catalyst for him to succeed—to be a participant in his own transcendence. You know what would be awesome? If this new Godzilla fought the crappy 1998 one.
Nick56 - 12/9/2013, 6:53 PM
Transcendence sounds great. So is Godzilla the good guy/protects the world in the new Godzilla movie? Because that seems kinda lame. I like the whole man vs monster thing not monster vs monster(s) but im sure it will be epic
MrCBM56 - 12/9/2013, 6:56 PM
Godzilla sounds great, There and Back Again is nothing new, but Transcendence got me confused as [frick]!

Is it me or does it sound like, from everything we heard about the movie, Wally is trying to be a little too much like Chris. Nolan?

I need a trailer to officially judge.
sanyaya - 12/9/2013, 7:00 PM
hmmmmm transcendence sounds kind of cool tho
Dandy - 12/9/2013, 7:00 PM
With exception to the first film, Godzilla is usually portrayed as the anti-hero. He's territorial and fights off threats to the planet, but occasionally steps on a city or two on his own.
sanyaya - 12/9/2013, 7:01 PM
@MrCBM56 lmfao
ForceOfLegend - 12/9/2013, 7:02 PM
All should be awesome!2014 is going to bea great year for movies! Lord willing!
SauronsBANE - 12/9/2013, 7:03 PM
How have I not heard about Transcendence before? Sounds really interesting. Wonder how large Nolan's role is as a producer. Of course Cillian Murphy and Morgan Freeman are in it though, Wally Pfister obviously listened to Nolan when it came to casting them, he loves working with the same actors. My only doubt is if someone like Johnny Depp can convincingly pull that role off.

Godzilla's first teaser (Possibly leaked?) trailer looked fantastic, I can't wait for more footage.

Based on spoilers I read for Desolation of Smaug, the last Hobbit movie is going to have its work cut out for it. I'll leave it at that.
sanyaya - 12/9/2013, 7:05 PM
so when does the trailer for transcendence comes out cause the movie comes out april 14 and still no [frick]ing trailer as for GODZILLA that movie should be hyped as [frick] and they just started marketing on that movie
sanyaya - 12/9/2013, 7:06 PM
woops my bad april 18
Prime - 12/9/2013, 7:06 PM
Huh...alright
Mike89 - 12/9/2013, 7:18 PM
Exited for Godzilla and Hobbit Desolation of Smaug. Transcendence sounds interesting.
TyrionLannister - 12/9/2013, 7:18 PM
Thank goodness, I never would have known that "There and Back Again" was concluding the adventure if New Line hadn't stated it in their thorough synopsis!
vtopa - 12/9/2013, 7:27 PM
Transcendence is basically Ray Kurzweil's idea of the technological singularity run amok. Should be awesome
Ocelot - 12/9/2013, 7:40 PM
Godzilla was a force of nature and "villain" up until Ghidorah: the Three-Headed Monster where he was turned into an anti-hero, he then becomes the "protector of Earth" up until the reboot, The Return of Godzilla, where he goes back to being a force of nature and other monsters are shown as being the "good" monsters, this was the case up until Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla where he's made into the protector of Earth again.
KingPatel - 12/9/2013, 7:41 PM
I can't wait for Transcendence, glad to finally see some news about it
cosmicman - 12/9/2013, 7:48 PM
actually there is a much longer synopsis for godzilla online
xfan320 - 12/9/2013, 8:11 PM
Guys I figured it out...

TRANSCENDENCE is a remake of LAWNMOWER MAN!!!

The studios are just trying to surprise us!
Greengo - 12/9/2013, 8:18 PM
Xfan may be on to something.
Thecoldknight16 - 12/9/2013, 8:20 PM
Transcendence is what johnny deep needs right now, hopefully he can reclaim my trust and love for him because he lost most of it with dark shadows and lone ranger, i still think hes entertaining as jack sparrow though.
capaware - 12/9/2013, 9:57 PM
@ForeverPowerful - Toho's Godzilla fought (and trashed) TriStar's Fraudzilla in GODZILLA: FINAL WARS. They also fought again recently in IDW's GODZILLA comic book series.
MightyZeus - 12/9/2013, 10:02 PM
Really hyped to see all three films next year. All three guaranteed will be amazing.
mizeatwizad52 - 12/10/2013, 12:27 AM
@ForeverPowerful-Yeah, the GODZILLA:FINAL WARS fight is pretty gratifying. Definitely worth a look on youtube!
JGAR - 12/10/2013, 3:52 AM
That Godzilla Synopsis is OLD, from SDCC 2013.
dave1138 - 12/10/2013, 4:24 AM
So Johnny Depp creates Ultron? lol
Bigred20 - 12/10/2013, 5:22 AM
godzilla is only getting a limited release?!
WTF?!
aztecRaingod - 12/10/2013, 5:38 AM
wcwpoet - 12/10/2013, 11:27 AM
That Godzilla description doesn't sound remotely accurate. Transcendence sounds kind of boring.
