It's a pass for me!Got too many comics to read already!!And was never a fan of Marvel's U.K. characters!Still waiting for Dr.Strange and Iron Fist to get their own titles!
DJFr33Dom - 12/11/2013, 3:45 AM
Liking the look of this badboy! Can someone tell me who the geezer on the right of the cover is? The one with the skull like face. Looks bad ass!
ds9epicfan - 12/11/2013, 3:52 AM
@DJFr33Dom
The name of the character on the right is Death's Head!
UltimaRex - 12/11/2013, 4:21 AM
Trivia:

Death's Head was created in the old Transformers UK comic and had run-ins with Doctor Who.

InfiniteMonkey - 12/11/2013, 4:24 AM
That art is just madness and Welcome Back Captain Britain!
SunfireUrA55 - 12/11/2013, 4:47 AM
That cover has good art but the colorist is just plain AWFULE! Didn't even get the skin color right.

Who's the guy in a suit? Shouldn't he have a costume too? He seemed out of place without one.

Uhhhh....this was posted already...two days ago, by Superhero96. Why is it posted again, with nothing new? I mean this is literally what was already posted

@Sunfire
That's Pete Wisdom. He always wears a suit.

Deaths Head II to be precise!I used to absolutely love that character. Did anyone ever read Overkill? A Uk compilation title? So much more violent and downright nasty than the US variants. Thoroughly worth a look.
I remember one particular comic with an old cyborg at the end of the universe being particularly meloncholic.
leethario - 12/11/2013, 5:51 AM
@ Zarathos, god i used to love Overkill! i had all my copies confiscated after i took them to Secondary School, never got them back. i remember they were taken away due to some guy having his hand hacked off in a fight. i would love to read them again.

I remember killpower vs Punisher too, happy days.

Surprised the EU haven't decided that Captain Britain is offensive and urged him to be renamed Captain European Union man.
siggisuperman - 12/11/2013, 6:10 AM
Captain Britain is awesome! I want a european group though with a hero from every country
actionmoviefanatix - 12/11/2013, 6:59 AM
I had a few of those Marvel UK books a while back, probably still do somewhere. I can't say that this run will be on the top of my pull list but the art really does look good.
Mrsinister - 12/11/2013, 7:57 AM
It's about time Dark Angel gets some love!
Nomadic1 - 12/11/2013, 9:03 AM
@Monkey LOL. 'Open your mind'
DJFr33Dom - 12/11/2013, 9:10 AM
@ds9epicfan cheers for the info mate.
Epicboy - 12/11/2013, 9:53 AM
Now this looks interesting, I might pick this up. Good to see something that isn't some self involved avengers crap with 100 avengers in one book.
WruceBayne - 12/11/2013, 10:23 AM
Richard Elson's art is [frick]ing sweet.
jimoakley666 - 12/11/2013, 11:10 AM
[frick] a duck, there's a blast from the past. Love that cover. Not overly mad on the interiors.
jimoakley666 - 12/11/2013, 11:13 AM
Are Panini still doing these? Ha ha. And Topps Trading.

Classic.
ChiliConCarney - 12/11/2013, 11:28 AM
I had just unearthed and was rifling through my olde Marvel collectible cards and forgot all about Motormouth, Dark Angel and Death's Head II. Guess I never realized they were UK specific...
GranGoose - 12/11/2013, 11:42 AM
If they are under the gender of "mutan", can Fox fox them?
Joementum - 12/11/2013, 12:06 PM
Which studio owns the UK marvel characters???
Jordanstine - 12/11/2013, 12:21 PM
Besides Dark Angel, who are the other pretty ladies on the team?

:D
Robe - 12/11/2013, 3:04 PM
Death's Head was just such a cool bounty hunter or freelance peacekeeping agent as he always called himself, yes?
Zarathos - 12/12/2013, 4:58 AM
@Leethario, yeah I can totally see how they would be confiscated! There was just something about the UK comics that gave them a harsher feel. Even the marvel Transformers comics were pretty hardcore for the time.
Great to see Deaths head 2 is back, I never really got the love for the original. Probably because his arm couldn't turn into a cannon, a mono-nuclear blade and some weird...um...pointy thing?!
Zarathos - 12/12/2013, 5:03 AM
@Jordanstine, the lady with the short hair is called Motormouth. She is my future wife.
