This movie took way to many liberties. By far the worst so far. Can't wait for the single movie "The Hobbit" cut.

God I loved this movie. Felt like a good mix in tone between LOTR and The Hobbit AUJ

Mine's Blast from the Past. The fact that my girlfriend hates it so f*cking much makes it better.

F*ck's wrong with Blast from the Past? Christopher Walken nearly has a panic attack at the sight of a porn shop.

How is that NOT awesome?

The Smaug scene at the end was the only truly interesting thing in the film for me. He was an intense villain and Cumberbatch projected something amazing with his voice work.

Best thing so far in the new movies next to Gollum.

"Smaug was underwhelming"

Huh? What? That seems to be a small minority opinion. To each their own, but I thought Smaug was done exceptionally well.

Why the comparison? LotR books are far more dark and mature than The Hobbit... It's a fun movie, just sit back enjoy mo-fos!!!

I cant stand the CGI orc's. They look out of place. LotR orcs look so much better because 90% of the time they were makeup and costume, not the other way around. Smaug was fantastic though, also Manu proves he is awesome even as just a voice.
