Amazing stuff

This is some of the best work Davies has done in years. A good inker and colourist help.

I think this comic would be better if they used Jerome Bettis as Sabertooth...right blackandyellow?
TheWolverine08 - 1/6/2014, 8:25 AM
Never liked this book.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/6/2014, 8:29 AM
Now that is the sabertooth I love. Cut you deep with his words before he guts ya. Excellent.
cipher - 1/6/2014, 8:30 AM
I've always loved Davis' stuff.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/6/2014, 8:34 AM
This dialogue reminds me of X-Men issue 33 from 1994 when sabertooth is digging into rogue deep with his words as she demands to know about gambits past. He plays cat and mouse with gambit before he puts him in checkmate and kills a girl gambit fell for in his past. His words spoke truth as they do here. Love it.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 1/6/2014, 8:36 AM
This is the cunning sabertooth I wanted in the films. :(
TelaVizion - 1/6/2014, 8:37 AM
@blackandyellow, no... It's not. The Muramasa Blade was damaged back when Daken first came into the books (what he laced 4 of his claws with.

This sword Wolverine had got from someone else. Might even be Silver Samurai's sword. Don't remember.

Nomis - 1/6/2014, 8:44 AM
@ cipher - What's up!

I dug Alan Davis artwork since he was doing Marvel Man waaaaaay back in the day!

Do me a favor and just put Logan out of his misery. He's a shell of what used to be. Cut his fan head off. Bring him and his fans mercy.
arsonjack - 1/6/2014, 8:54 AM

Bl00dwerK - 1/6/2014, 9:01 AM

patrat18 - 1/6/2014, 9:26 AM
I love this book.
kevberg - 1/6/2014, 10:11 AM
Logans code sure as hell aint this sh@t.

Wolverine is always been " come at me with fists I'll meet ya with fists, you bring a knife or a gun, all bets are off"

Truth and truth.
kevberg - 1/6/2014, 10:15 AM
Probably boils down to some liberal FAhktard a the D that thinks " oh we cant have a hero thats a killer running around."

The neutering process begins...no claws, no cigar, he'll be on his way to being cyclops for the little girls out there.
ManCalledSting - 1/6/2014, 10:17 AM
Jesus Louisus!!! Wolvie's getting messed up.
ManCalledSting - 1/6/2014, 10:18 AM
If they do indeed kill him, that should lead to a miniseries where he explores the after life.
cipher - 1/6/2014, 10:34 AM
Nomi- Heh, I'm systematically f*cking up my New Year's resolutions one by one. I'm hoping to break 'em all by the end o' the month. Should be a new record. How you doin', man? Hope the holidays were great.

:)
CorndogBurglar - 1/6/2014, 10:48 AM

TheDpool - 1/6/2014, 11:13 AM
@CorndogBurglar - Ohhhhhhhhhh no you didnt aha
ManCalledSting - 1/6/2014, 12:00 PM
Not quite what I ment.
Nomis - 1/6/2014, 12:13 PM
@ cipher - LOL!!!! go for it... break them all half way within the month.

I survived my family for one more year ;)

Sabretooth is the perfect person to put this sad dog down for good. His words cut so much because they are true. Villains are the best, they can do and say whatever they please and have no code to live up to.
InfiniteMonkey - 1/6/2014, 1:08 PM
Alan Davis's artwork is quite unique. Love that.
Oh look, Wolverine in a costume...fox.
SCURVYDOG619 - 1/6/2014, 1:15 PM
Alan Davis,ladies and gentlemen.

A storytelling MASTER at work.

If Marvel pairs him and Gaiman on a new Miracleman title..

(We know it's coming,Marvel will reprint the original run and pick up with new stories after issue 25....)

THAT will be something special....
Dunejedi - 1/6/2014, 2:15 PM
How it is that Alan Davis never became as wildly popular as the Jim Lees and and Todd McFarlanes is completely beyond me. He is a Master storyteller and his powers haven't faded AT ALL in the last couple of decades.

@Scurvydog619 Yes, that! God, yes! DO IT, MARVEL!!!!
AlSimmons - 1/6/2014, 4:14 PM
Why am I getting a Sebastian Shaw vibe from Sabretooth?
rabid - 1/6/2014, 6:11 PM
sideburns
rabid - 1/6/2014, 6:14 PM
@Dunejedi
Because of his speed. He's too slow to keep up as a regular series artist, so he mainly does special issues. It's a shame really because he's a masterful storyteller, and his run on Excalibur was sublime. Man, that was such a long time ago too!
mgeoff88 - 1/6/2014, 7:31 PM
Damn... it's hard seeing Wolverine like that.

@kevberg Wolverine still has his claws. He is wearing bandages on his hands to stop the bleeding caused by using them.
