JENNIFER WALTERS IS...THE SHE-HULK! A stalwart Avenger, valued member of the FF, savior of the world on more than one occasion, she's also a killer attorney with a pile of degrees and professional respect. A 7-foot-tall drink of cool, emerald water, she's tough enough to knock out Galactus with one punch (possibly?) and has a heart bigger than the moon. But juggling cases and kicking bad guy butt is starting to be a little more complicated than she anticipated. With a new practice, a new paralegal and a mounting number of super villains she's racking up as personal enemies, She Hulk might have bitten off a little more than she can chew...but she just calls that that Tuesday.

The shot of her drinking with tony and Thor was cool but that art is Ughhh a step above doodoo
TheIncredibleHulksta - 2/9/2014, 6:06 AM
Pass.
DetBullock - 2/9/2014, 6:07 AM
LOL, sometimes I have your same reaction when I see your average Jim Lee wannabe, I find the art style okay, not Darwyn Cooke level, but I like it.
crdl2nslv - 2/9/2014, 6:09 AM
I agree, i know this style has gotten more popular lately, but I don't like it. I grew up reading comics in the 90's though, and i believe there's plenty of people out there who didn't like the hyper-muscled, over-sexed, darker and gritty stuff of that time. To each his own i guess...but mine's better ;)

That second cover is great though.
Space - 2/9/2014, 6:28 AM
She has Uma Thurman Eyes
TheGreenNinja - 2/9/2014, 7:00 AM
lame. she-hulk should be sexier. I mean they want to sell comics right?

Gary8264 - 2/9/2014, 7:02 AM
The fifth cover has a Norman Rockwell feel to it.
SigmaCenturion - 2/9/2014, 7:06 AM
That art style burns my eyes.
marvel72 - 2/9/2014, 7:16 AM
the art is okay,it might be a good read.

I've always liked She-Hulk, probably my favorite female superhero. But I just don't like that artist, and this looks to be his most extreme book. Looks like one of those low budget cartoons on a Cartoon Network.

Some of the covers are really great though. Shouldn't she have green blood like her cousin?
Vaportrail - 2/9/2014, 7:34 AM
Yeah, I'm not quite digging the art style.
I'm all for 'heroes when they're not being heroes' stories, Hawkeye's hilarious and more often than not that's what Daredevil is about, but those also have very appealing art.
This feels like it's trying to be those, but it's not as good.
JediPhilosopher - 2/9/2014, 7:54 AM
Yep, I've seen better art in She-Hulk comic books. I love this character and I'd like to see her show up in the marvel cinematic universe. Imo, she'd be exactly what AOS could use to get people into that show. But even if not in that show, maybe in The Incredible Hulk 2 or the Avengers 2?
rabid - 2/9/2014, 8:09 AM
The art style reminds me of the last decent She-Hulk series, so there's one reason to think it might be good.
xstryker - 2/9/2014, 8:24 AM
Man, I know how that feels. No bonus, but nothing's too expensive for the top dogs. Just got denied bonus again, while the CEO gets millions. This might be my last year before I jump to another company.
pointman - 2/9/2014, 8:44 AM
Who exactly is this book marketed to? I am a fan of she hulk but she has never been able to carry her own book. Most of the females I know read manga anyway. I guess it is the same reason wonder woman doesn't fare well either.
darklighter1 - 2/9/2014, 8:45 AM
I like TheGreenNinja's art much better.
Roninidas - 2/9/2014, 8:53 AM
It is a fun Art Style for the story they appear to be trying to tell.
rabid - 2/9/2014, 8:54 AM
@pointman
Her books are mostly aimed at males, hence stories like Eros' rape trial or the time Jen banged the Juggernaut.
Wolf38 - 2/9/2014, 9:08 AM
That top cover is fantastic, art-wise.

I've never read any She-Hulk, but to me she seems like a better basis for ongoing stories that Wonder Woman (who I love, but what does she do day in, day out?).
pointman - 2/9/2014, 10:10 AM
@RABID
With all the T&A they show I believe it! I just don't don't think it is enough to carry her own book. Those storylines sound like a lifetime movie network movie!
HeadPool420 - 2/9/2014, 11:03 AM
Not a fan of the simplistic art that Marvel has been using. Not hating it's just there's so many other artist that have awesome styles and actually put a lot of detail into their work.
blkchi - 2/9/2014, 11:12 AM
Yeah she should be curvy and more ripped would read but dont think she could carry her own book since u could she her powers on a greater level in the hulk..man i love anime but manga sucks to read blk and white crap..well hope to see cloak and dagger orther charactets in the movies b4 her
SCURVYDOG619 - 2/9/2014, 12:12 PM

With this art, it looks like they went from pencils straight to coloring, much like Sara Pichelli's art on GOTG.

Don't know if that's a good or bad idea in regards to having no inker...

TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 2/9/2014, 1:03 PM
Shit. I saw the cover on Marvel's Website. Thought a new She-Hulk would be [frick]ing awesome. Time to call Barney and tell him to remove this from my pull list.
HelaGood - 2/9/2014, 1:41 PM
That art sucks! And I was very excited to get this book... But I am going to wholeheartedly pass!
druzod2501 - 2/9/2014, 1:48 PM
So Soule's writing both dc and marvel at once? Huh?
RandyBobandy - 2/9/2014, 2:53 PM
MARVEL, ARE YOU LISTENING? K? K. THIS ART SUCKS, STOP PUTTING SUCKY ART IN YOUR BOOKS.

THANK YOU,

-EVERYONE
RandyBobandy - 2/9/2014, 2:55 PM
Like seriously though, THAT is considered a splash page now??? It looks like it was drawn by a child, seriously. Maybe it's time to rethink how you put books together and pay your artists more, as well as give them more time to complete a page. A page a day is just moronic and leads to quality art like we see here.
HorrorPilot - 2/9/2014, 3:13 PM
ART...BAD!!!
Goggles - 2/9/2014, 10:11 PM
Some great covers here. Especially the Kevin Wada one. Too bad the interior art's absolute shit.
loki668 - 2/10/2014, 12:13 AM
ALLRED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me no likee art!!
ScionStorm - 2/10/2014, 1:40 AM
I'm sorry but this art makes me think of Kristen Stewart's acting. A shame because I actually like where the writing seems to be going. I love heroes with legit day jobs. Ones that are working because unless your with Heroes For Hire being a hero doesn't pay the bills.
ScionStorm - 2/10/2014, 1:46 AM
That face panel on the second page scared me. Also, is She-Hulk getting tasered in the boob on that first page?
loki668 - 2/10/2014, 3:13 AM
This looks like I drew it and, trust me, no one wants that!!!
