Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker. GOTHAM is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), GOTHAM follows one cop’s rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:14 AM
He is a great actor so this is a perfect role for him.
Nadj76 - 3/24/2014, 11:14 AM
Looks the part.
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:15 AM
With this being FOX it is up in the air this show could be a hit and go one for many seasons or it can still be a hit and cancelled after the first season.
TheRationalNerd - 3/24/2014, 11:16 AM
Didn't they once make an Alfred action figure? lol
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:17 AM
Gusto was once a butler........

TheRationalNerd - 3/24/2014, 11:18 AM
I kind of want this show to tie into the DCCU. Arrow already missed a great opportunity. But it's still doing it's thing in the big scale; there's no doubt about that! Ha!
batmanvsuperman - 3/24/2014, 11:18 AM
Idk wat to think
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:18 AM
@ BlackNerd

Actually they made several.

JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:20 AM
@ BlackNerd

Well this show will not tie in at all to the DCCU, and ARROW has not missed the opportunity to connect. By the end of season 3 of Arrow they can connect it easily to MOS if they want to.
AXE - 3/24/2014, 11:21 AM
Man news, just don't seem to stop, [frick] yeah!looks like Alfred to me
BatManiac - 3/24/2014, 11:22 AM
Terrible, just like everything else in this show.
MexicanChinman - 3/24/2014, 11:23 AM
@JoeMomma29, damn Gusto is one ugly mother fricker. Haha
Did you hear about about DBZ Kai Buu saga being released soon?
Ancar - 3/24/2014, 11:23 AM
I was expecting a classic visual for the character:(
Knightrider - 3/24/2014, 11:24 AM
It would be a shame not to tie it in to the Ben Affleck Batman, seeing as we know his Batman will be older, and his Gotham already established along with many of his villains.

They could - although I doubt it - still create a universe with this, Arrow and Flash as this would be set way before Ollie and be about how Batman came about, the time Ollie is Arrow the Batman had been around for years, still a massive myth to most as has due to his tech any photos or data on him always seems to get corrupted.
typicalfanboy - 3/24/2014, 11:24 AM
Will he never be bald and mustachioed?
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:24 AM
@ Batmaniac

I love you man but you need to calm down and actually wait for the pilot to air. I personally think this show is going to surprise all of us.

Also this is how people felt about Arrow.............
GenerationX - 3/24/2014, 11:24 AM
Not too shabby
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:25 AM
@ MexicanSupermans

Yeah my son mentioned it to me but I have been slammed with traveling for work.

Also have you been watching Space Dandy? Also I actually enjoyed the first episode of Black Lagoon that aired Saturday Night on Toonami.
TheClemster - 3/24/2014, 11:26 AM
No

Where is his stache????

Is this sereis stache-ist????
Nomis - 3/24/2014, 11:26 AM
i like the premise of the show, but I would love to see an Alfred look similar to the way he is generally drawn in the comics.

The only one that came close is from the actor fornm the 1940s movie serials

JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:26 AM
@ Batmaniac

The only thing that has been truly terrible regarding this show is the thread where grown ass men thrashed a little girl............
Owlman88 - 3/24/2014, 11:28 AM
what about the Lex Luthor´d version of "Beware the Batman"???

JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:29 AM
@ Gusto

I look forward to it!!!!!!!
Dandy - 3/24/2014, 11:29 AM
Is this guy related to Jon Pertwee (the Third Doctor)? Because he looks just like him.
Brainiac13 - 3/24/2014, 11:30 AM
He looks a lot like his old man.

As Alfred..........not seeing it..............
InfiniteMonkey - 3/24/2014, 11:30 AM
I hope they are paying him well.

Such an underutilised actor.
Pasto - 3/24/2014, 11:32 AM
You guys see that episode of Law and Order SVU with the actor playing Bullock? Lmao, funny stuff.
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:32 AM
Though instead of a butler I prefer French Maids.......

Gusto said he loves his French Maid and the French Ticklers ummmmm she gives him......

MexicanChinman - 3/24/2014, 11:32 AM
@JoeMomma29, I don't think it has been dub yet but I think it is out in Japan.
Space Dandy looks interesting. I saw a trailer of it and it reminds me of a more comedic version of Cowboy Bebop. Black Lagoon looks awesome. I need to check it out.
Nomis - 3/24/2014, 11:33 AM
@ Gusto - Didn't I post that one time? I didn't find it offensive. ;)
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:33 AM
Sorry guys there are way to many of these not to post......

JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:34 AM
@ MexicanSuperman

Well the Space Dandy has been showing every Saturday night it is a pretty good show.
Brainiac13 - 3/24/2014, 11:34 AM
@Dandy

John is his Dad.
TheDemonsHead - 3/24/2014, 11:35 AM
I hated that 'Beware the Batman' got me to watch that whole season waiting for Ra's Al Ghul to appear and when he did he was mummified (which was kinda cool) but he never actually showed up.

And that was 50% of the reason (if not more) why I even watched that piece of shit jimmy neutron animation ass show

______________

Is this 'Gotham' show really happening though and he doesn't look like any Alfred I would've chosen. This show just seems to want to be different not good, I guess I'll give it a chance. I am a sucker for Batman

Which is why I'll never forgive Nolan for what he did to him.

I wonder if I'm the only person in America (or the world perhaps) who ALMOST walked out of the goddamn theatre because that movie was so far away from anything Batman related I was legitamittly upset

Eh whatever

STAY POSITIVE EVERYBODY I LOVE THIS SITE AND EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER VISITED IT
MexicanChinman - 3/24/2014, 11:36 AM
@Nomis, as the Fox X-Men lover you are, what are your thoughts on the new XMDOFP trailer?
JoeMomma29 - 3/24/2014, 11:36 AM
MisterPL - 3/24/2014, 11:36 AM
Love it. He looks exactly the way I imagined a younger Alfred would look. Not some skinny, frail butler with a creepy, pencil mustache but a guy who looks like he can not only handle himself but act as a bodyguard for young Bruce, more TRANSPORTER than DRIVING MISS DAISY.

And how can you go wrong with the offspring of a Time Lord?
Arrowhead77 - 3/24/2014, 11:38 AM
Looks good. Great actor! But yes, French maids are much better than Alfred!
