CaptainObvious - 4/8/2014, 5:44 PM
Composite Spider-Man.
SonDJ - 4/8/2014, 5:45 PM
I was kind of expecting something like this.
ibravosp5 - 4/8/2014, 5:45 PM
He looks like someone's uncle dressing up as spidey on their nephews birthday
Pending - 4/8/2014, 5:48 PM
Uh ehh...reminds me of a young Dan Aykroyd.
Mrcool210 - 4/8/2014, 5:55 PM
Get John Romita SR to draw the cover, that would be was more badass
huckfinnisher - 4/8/2014, 6:11 PM
dig the classic vibe
Melkaticox - 4/8/2014, 6:20 PM

Guys it may be stupid but look... It looks okay... JrJr. has been shit for the past 6 years... he actually tried on this piece!
PunkRockJesus - 4/8/2014, 7:04 PM
Hey JRJR:

micvalpro - 4/8/2014, 7:37 PM
Looks like boring crap
staypuffed - 4/8/2014, 7:42 PM
That is terrible.
storyteller - 4/8/2014, 7:56 PM
I think Jr was trying to imitate his dads style since he harkens more to that then to his own style.
Billium3 - 4/8/2014, 8:06 PM
That cover was actually drawn by John Romita SR., not JR.
HeadPool420 - 4/8/2014, 8:11 PM
Marvels giving their artist to much lazy freedom.
Dunejedi - 4/8/2014, 8:19 PM
It looks way more like Sr. than Jr.

F#ck Slott. Hail Hydra.
mctrinket - 4/8/2014, 8:33 PM
Caption it: "Look, Ma--No Genitals!"
SugarYumYum - 4/8/2014, 8:50 PM
Yikes. Yeah... that's pretty bad. I can't believe this cover was actually approved.
BuckyCap - 4/8/2014, 9:26 PM
If JRJR lived in the Middle East, he would have had his hands cut off already.
dethpillow - 4/8/2014, 10:06 PM
i think the confusion comes from John Romita Sr, being John Romita Jr as well.

so it's really more like John Romita the Second, and John Romita the Third.
dethpillow - 4/8/2014, 10:08 PM
but the article is saying it's John Romita the Third that drew this cover.
LikeAPhoenix - 4/8/2014, 10:14 PM
That has to be the most uninspired and unattractive drawing of anything I've ever seen. How it qualified as cover, I'll never know.

I'm sorry but John Romita Junior is one the worse artists of all time. His figures are disproportionate with bloated "Joan Rivers" faces and nothing but lines, ugly, distracting lines.

He needs to permanently and exclusively move to DC and uglify their characters for awhile.

maninfinesuit - 4/8/2014, 10:37 PM
This looks like it popped out of a colouring book.
marvel72 - 4/9/2014, 12:09 AM
he's dad is so much better an artist, quite possibly the greatest spidey artist.
Osborn - 4/9/2014, 1:44 AM
When did John Romita Jr became lame? Is there a third John Romita?
TheOhioHydra - 4/9/2014, 2:11 AM
It is romita sr
SpectacularJoShFest - 4/9/2014, 4:18 AM
Blergh...that cover is disgusting and made me throw up...of course that also could have been all the beer I drank last night...
AvatarIII - 4/9/2014, 5:24 AM
why is his musculature different in the Spidey suit?
Ancar - 4/9/2014, 6:25 AM
He did this in 30 seconds?
comicbookjerk - 4/9/2014, 9:09 AM
I already miss Superior Spider-man and I hated that stuff...but then they give us this weak sauce? They could have made him at least look a little more exciting :*(
DrDoom - 4/9/2014, 11:37 AM
Well, this isn't unoriginal at all.
SkywayTraffic - 4/9/2014, 12:17 PM
We want Michael C. Hall as Daredevil, not Spider-Man.
SCURVYDOG619 - 4/9/2014, 1:38 PM
They may have burned their bridges with Marvel years ago, but I would have been happy if there were variants by Ditko and John Byrne....

Oh,yeah...

Don't Yield ,Back SHIELD!

(Sleeper Hydra agents on this site...heh, you kids....)
PunkRockJesus - 4/9/2014, 8:26 PM

WHAT THE [frick] IS THAT!?
case - 4/10/2014, 7:07 PM
Looks like one of those magnetic dolls you put on the fridge. And dress up in only half a Spider-Man costume.
