"DAMN I HATE WHEN MARVEL MIXES THEIR MOVIE LOOKS WITH THEIR COMICS" ...........
Gusto - 4/28/2014, 10:31 AM

patrat18 - 4/28/2014, 10:32 AM
SageMode - It's just the coat. Marvel changes the way the character looks completely.
aRandomSinisterClone - 4/28/2014, 10:33 AM

0megaDaGod - 4/28/2014, 10:35 AM
Bane has been doin way too many drugs if he's dressing like Batman and Bane Connery in New 52
ChuckV - 4/28/2014, 10:38 AM
OMG- this is where comics are headed???? There's NOTHING shown in that preview that would make me want to spend money to pick it up.

[frick] yes! I'm so glad they're making Bane more like Nolan's! I've always wanted them to do this, so I couldn't be more happier! I just hope they end up giving him the mask too!

BatManiac - 4/28/2014, 10:43 AM
Give him the mask DC!

McFarlaneFan - 4/28/2014, 10:43 AM

nibs - 4/28/2014, 10:50 AM
Yeah I'm not usually one to complain about late books, things happen, but you can't have your flagship event/story that is the center-piece of the entire universe 2 months late.
How come companies can't draw and write their main event early on? That way you can have tie-ins that aren't garbage and overall universe cohesion.
DanteSparda - 4/28/2014, 11:11 AM
But Bane has never been "forever evil", he was a cool dude for a time.
AC1 - 4/28/2014, 11:15 AM
So Bane's wearing the exact same costume he wore in The Dark Knight Rises except for the gloves and mask. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

I'd like it if they redesigned Bane to have a look reminiscent of Tom Hardy's version mixed with his classic look, but I don't want to see them just copy it outright. Comics and movies are meant to be different.

I always thought TDKR version of Bane was crappy. It's not as bad as Batman & Robin's, but they at least got the mask somewhat right in that one.
BoomTubeB - 4/28/2014, 11:55 AM
NOLAN'S Bane was pure butchery of the real Bane!
BoomTubeB - 4/28/2014, 11:56 AM
@gusto

LMFAO!!! Brilliant !
DarthDan - 4/28/2014, 12:01 PM
And Gusto wins again
BoomTubeB - 4/28/2014, 12:09 PM
Nolan made 2 good Batman movies & then pulled a Schumacher! Dark knight rises was a dumpster fire stench of a movie!

THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 4/28/2014, 12:19 PM
Bane rocking TDKR coat.
AlphaAndDecima - 4/28/2014, 12:29 PM
SO glad that they're still making Bane look like the TDKR Bane in the New 52. Now just toss the god-awful mask and give him the TDKR mask, but have there be a venom supply in his mask that he digests every 12 hours or so(placed in those "pods" on the side of the mask) and then Bane would look extremely perfect. I didn't mind the idea that TDKR's Bane took medication to keep pain at bay since pain was such a powerful theme for TDKR, but I didn't care for him having to take the medication 24/7 and while I hate the idea that Bane has to take venom, taking venom would at least give some plausible sense for Bane to be wearing the TDKR mask.

@ BoomTubeB

You posted one of the more hideous looks for Bane while saying Nolan's take was a butchering, LOL.
MantiniumMan - 4/28/2014, 12:29 PM
BEHOLD,The Instrument of your LIBERATION!!!!!
AlphaAndDecima - 4/28/2014, 12:30 PM
@ BoomTubeB

"Nolan made 2 good Batman movies & then pulled a Schumacher! Dark knight rises was a dumpster fire stench of a movie!"

The ironic thing is that Nolan fanboys are usually the ones that compliment BB and TDK while giving TDKR shit.

Good job, Nolanite.
MantiniumMan - 4/28/2014, 12:30 PM
People who hate TDKR while spooning IM3 and Spiderman 3,sad....
duncboy - 4/28/2014, 12:32 PM
I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'd love to see them completely adopt the TDKR version of Bane in the comics, coat, mask and all. Otherwise, looking forward to this - I really ended up liking most of Forever Evil.
AlphaAndDecima - 4/28/2014, 12:32 PM
@ MantiniumMan

Your comments are shit too, though. And isn't this like your tenth name on here?
KeefNCookies - 4/28/2014, 12:36 PM
TDKR IM3 and SM3 are all terrible. I have no interest in watching them ever again.
BoomTubeB - 4/28/2014, 12:48 PM
not a nolanite ! said BB & TDK were good not great!

@alpha your the biggest nolanite on this thread!

smell - 4/28/2014, 12:52 PM

BoomTubeB - 4/28/2014, 12:53 PM
@TankD

I agree they did do sandman right!
ChiliConCarney - 4/28/2014, 1:31 PM
Yeah, wasn't happy at all with the things they did in TDKR. Robin... Bane... Hines Ward lived...

Gusto - 4/28/2014, 1:44 PM
LMFAO...Hines Ward lived!!!!!!
Classic!
DoubleD - 4/28/2014, 1:54 PM
WOW LOOKS Just like Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.
AstroZombie - 4/28/2014, 2:05 PM
Bane was a B-lister at best before Nolan used him. He was a 90's leftover that floundered around after he served his purpose in Knightfall, and by the looks of this crap, DC still doesn't know what to do with the character. The Dark Knight Rises was the best thing that anyone has done with Bane in any story-telling medium.
