Looks, ok...

Not so excited for this after the last two animated films, love the Arkham games though, so will inevitably watch it
CommanderShepard - 4/30/2014, 9:27 AM
I will pick this up, as I love the Arkham universe too much!
PsyGuy - 4/30/2014, 9:33 AM
This is one of their better covers!

It looks like a comic cover for an indie title
pigvalley - 4/30/2014, 9:38 AM
Is that King Shark?
MericawithanM - 4/30/2014, 9:39 AM
This looks awesome. I don't get how there's a lack of excitement.
grif - 4/30/2014, 9:40 AM
waiting on a proper death of superman animated movie or batman knightfall. till then i wont be buying any of these.
YOR - 4/30/2014, 9:41 AM
Why didn't they use CG animation,to look like the game series?Could've used the original character models, locations and everything.Probably sell more that way.
pesmerga44 - 4/30/2014, 9:45 AM
I wanna know why the hell Batman is even doing on this when the Suicide Squad is clearly the focal point of this movie. Come on DC Batman does not need to be involved with everything to be a good story. Suicide Squad is a great story with lots of possibilities to work with so we don't need Batman stealing the spotlight.
KrazyForKomix - 4/30/2014, 9:49 AM
. . . and the war on costumes spreads like a cancer.
KrazyForKomix - 4/30/2014, 9:55 AM
not that this factoid matters at all, pesmerga44, but you HAVE to know it's babyass Warner Brothers that is demanding the inclusion of Batman (and sometimes Superman) in everything. They must think Marvel's recent success is all one big fat lie. They are . . . Marvel Deniers!
GLprime2814 - 4/30/2014, 9:59 AM
They can't call it a suicide squad because a lot of people won't know what it is, and parents won't buy it for their kids if it says suicide on the cover.
Gusto - 4/30/2014, 10:18 AM
Sinestro Corps War.
That is all.
KrazyForKomix - 4/30/2014, 10:22 AM
GL makes a good point.

Call it Task Force X and use the same cover. Then all the parents buying this for their 5 and 6 year olds kids will feel LESS betrayed by Warner Brothers bait and switch.
Faris - 4/30/2014, 10:23 AM
King Shark looks like Bad Rap from the "Extreme Dinosaurs" cartoon
TheGoddamnPeel - 4/30/2014, 10:25 AM
If Scarecrow, Croc and Riddler aren't in this, I'm just going to accept this is WB's way of cashing in publicity of the Suicide Squad so they can set up a live action movie.

So much for the storyline actually being based off the arkham series.
BoomTubeB - 4/30/2014, 10:29 AM
thanx for deleting my post just because it was the box cover! *lame
nibs - 4/30/2014, 10:29 AM
LOL good effort Gusto, although I'm pretty sure we're not going to see anything GL until Justice League (attempts to) make the masses forget about Ryan Reynolds.
0megaDaGod - 4/30/2014, 10:34 AM
Beautiful artwork. Isn't that done by an actual comic artist
0megaDaGod - 4/30/2014, 10:35 AM
"you HAVE to know it's babyass Warner Brothers that is demanding the inclusion of Batman (and sometimes Superman) in everything. They must think Marvel's recent success is all one big fat lie. They are . . . Marvel Deniers!"

LOL, it's funny cause it's true. Also kinda sad
micvalpro - 4/30/2014, 10:36 AM
Umm that looks like a batman begins cowl design...
DTor91 - 4/30/2014, 10:45 AM
Because that would be a lot more expensive to make. Easier said than done.

@pesmerga44 @KrazyForKomix
Because it's set in the Arkham Universe. And KrazyForKomix, you say WB slaps Batman and Superman on everything. Obviously that's because they are their biggest sellers. But then you throw in Marvel to the mix. I don't know, does slapping Iron Man on everything not equate the same strategy?

Both companies know their money makers. And in the case of DC, they tried Wonder Woman and GL animated movies. They didn't sell well. Batman and Superman does. As a business, the answer there is logical. If customers want other properties, well pay for it when it's out there.
H3LLBLAZER - 4/30/2014, 10:58 AM
DC should do a live action Suicide Squad film. This is who I would love to see in the lineup, in no particular order.

1. Deadshot: Specialty, Assassin stealth missions.

2. King Shark: Specialty. The muscle, Brute strength.

3. Clock King: Specialty. Hacker, the teams oracle.

4. Rick Flag: Specialty, leader of the team. Over seeing the missions.

5. Plastique: Specialty, Demolitions expert.

6. Bronze Tiger: Specialty, the black guy. Just kidding, expert martial artist. Or Black Spider, the teams stealth expert. Or Cheetah, she has the reflexes of a Cheetah, and stealth/strength/stamina/senses of a Cheetah.

They can introduce them like the expendables. It can have the feeling of a heist movie.
