Lutz would be perfect for either He-Man, Aquaman, or Venom/Eddie Brock.

I'm actually looking forward to this more that the Rock's version.

"It features the classic image of Hercules pulling the chains tied to two pillars."

... isn't that supposed to be Samson's thing?
KingLeonidas - 10/12/2013, 11:14 PM
It was made famous by Steve Reeves in his classic Hercules films.
MrSundayMovies - 10/12/2013, 11:37 PM
This could actually be better than the Ratner film. The only major thing this has going against it is Hercules isn't The Rock.
nailbiter111 - 10/12/2013, 11:43 PM

Laconic - 10/12/2013, 11:58 PM

The writing and cinematography are disgusting.

novaprime - 10/12/2013, 11:58 PM
I think thi will Be Better Then Ratners Film and his Samoan Hercules Lol terrible the Rock is the Man!! but hes no herc, lets see if he changes his WWE ACTING SKILLS!! FOR THIS FILM LOL
MightyZeus - 10/13/2013, 12:00 AM
What is this Spartus?

This actually insults Heracles. Why cant Hollywood make a faithful adaptation of Heracles.

I'll stick with the real Hercules. Hercules in New York!!!

Hemsworth would destroy this wee man
KingLeonidas - 10/13/2013, 12:04 AM
The Rock's film has a truly terrible director.
MightyZeus - 10/13/2013, 12:07 AM
King's right. Brett Ratner has done some crappy films like X-men last stand and Tower Heist.
ImTheDoctor - 10/13/2013, 12:07 AM
I feel like I just saw the whole movie in the trailer...
Visualiza - 10/13/2013, 12:11 AM
Looks pretty bad, like a low budget mish-mash of every other historical/fantasy epic we've seen in the last 15 years.
TwoToGo - 10/13/2013, 12:16 AM
So, Hercules is a gladiator now?
Goggles - 10/13/2013, 12:28 AM
I'll probably give this a watch just because it's a movie that falls under my interests. I'm sure it won't wow anyone, but it should at least be somewhat entertaining -- either for its (hopefully) decent fight choreography or its total B-movie feel.

@GodOfMischief: Noah is in post-production and is slated for a March 28, 2014 release.
retr0g0dfather - 10/13/2013, 12:41 AM
No mystical creatures? When I think of Hercules, I don't think of Gladiator, Leonidas or Sparticus. I think of a half God fighting a Hydra or an army of soldiers lead by Hades.
Ceejay - 10/13/2013, 12:44 AM
lol, looks like an average TV episode of Spartacus, who in their right mind would pay to see this on the big screen? He doesn't even have a beard!
jaycranney - 10/13/2013, 12:49 AM
This looks like a low budget piece of shit! I'd prefer to watch and feature length version of Zena Warrior Princess.
Can't stand all of this slow motion bullshit as well off the back of 300 - Why do they insist on dong it?

AlexLaChiusa - 10/13/2013, 1:13 AM
That was one of the worst trailers I have ever seen.

It looks like some direct-to-DVD garbage.
revloveR - 10/13/2013, 1:39 AM
[frick]ing hell. even the font is generic.
sameoldthing - 10/13/2013, 1:42 AM
This looks generic.
Lutz should play He-Man instead .. Adkins should play Batman.
Instead we get this weakness.
justsomedude - 10/13/2013, 1:46 AM
spartacus the movie?
Goran - 10/13/2013, 1:48 AM
This has nothing to do with Hercules....
Highflyer - 10/13/2013, 1:50 AM
This looks like crap.
whoa123 - 10/13/2013, 1:54 AM
A Spartacus rip-off that looks beyond terrible.
Himura - 10/13/2013, 1:54 AM
It really looks like an episode of Spartacus...having Liam McIntyre in the cast doesn't help either.
Excel - 10/13/2013, 2:00 AM
@racconwithrockets

Hahhahaha ahaahhaa. immortal.....whhho
MarvelsDarkKnight - 10/13/2013, 2:02 AM
Yeah this looks like crap
HavocPrime - 10/13/2013, 2:04 AM
It looks like a glorified TV movie, and does anyone in Hollywood actually know the story to Heracles?

Also this Hercules is not very heroic considering he wants to sabotage a peace deal and stop a war.
BadassBay - 10/13/2013, 2:17 AM
Straight to DVD!
CherryBomb - 10/13/2013, 2:22 AM
Had no idea Roxanne McKee was in this!
Yes yes yes!
