A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

Who's gonna fly that? I pretty sure everyone that knew how to fly an Ac-130 is dead. Are those survivors in San Francisco going to find one parked so easily? and are they going to learn to fly it in one day? Come on man, the virus killed off mostly everyone. Imagine if a virus was released in the world right now everyone would be at war. The U.S would use all their ac-130's and other aircraft.
Even if there was one pilot that survived it still takes skill to learn to use the tech equipment and artillery this isn't Call of duty.

the other problem with the "airstrike" scenario is that you have to actually see them to know you got them all. do you think they'll just sit still and wait while you're strafing the woods? is caesar too stupid to find a cave made of rock? and once the fighting starts, would he not be smart enough to send the children to safety and split the soldiers into platoons?

they're not all just going to sit still and be killed. otherwise there's be no terrorists left anywhere in the world.
