Promoting the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of Arrow Season 2, series star Stephen Amell released an extended scene from Episode 15: "The Promise" featuring another tense stand off between Slade (Manu Bennett) and Oliver. This episode was already one of the show's most intense, and this scene helps up the ante just a bit. What do you guys think? Sound off below!

In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen — not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Arrow
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
David Ramsey as John Diggle
Willa Holland as Thea Queen
Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance
Colton Haynes as Roy Harper/Arsenal
Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance
John Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn/Dark Archer
Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Canary
Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom

Arrow returns October 8.

I started to hate Slade during season 2. Such a cool character ruined by stupid teenager love problems. He hates Arrow because his imaginary girlfriend died, boo [frick]ing hoo. It's obvious this stuff is meant for women who don't particularly care about comic books but love soap opera.

@Archgoat

Semi-agree. I only watched the show recently, and as soon as they hinted that Slade and Oliver would have a falling out, I immediately assumed it would be over a female.

The whole Miru-kuru insanity clause just cheapened what was one of the better relationships in the show.
