Hugh Jackman's Open To A WOLVERINE Cameo In DEADPOOL

Even though Wolverine & Deadpool's first on-screen meeting didn't end up being as memorable as it could've been, Fox may have a chance to rectify that error as it looks like Hugh Jackman may be interested in going head-to-head with Ryan Reynolds' Merc with a Mouth. Check it out!

Speaking with MTV UK, X-Men star Hugh Jackman touched on the subject of Fox's upcoming Deadpool movie, which arrives next February and stars his good friend and X-Men Origins: Wolverine co-star Ryan Reynolds as the fast-talking Merc with a Mouth. In the brief interview clip below, Jackman affirms that Reynolds will do a great job and expresses his extreme happiness for Reynolds and that the movie is getting made. When asked about a potential Wolverine cameo, Jackman says he's "open to that idea" after briefly touching on Wolverine and Deadpool's volatile relationship and how they always seem to spark off well together. Would you like to see Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Wolverine in the Deadpool movie? Maybe as a cameo in a special post-credits scene? Jackman's already come out and said he'd like to play Wolverine for the rest of his life, so why not add Deadpool to his upcoming slate, which already includes the Wolverine 3, and even though he's still unconfirmed, X-Men: Apocalypse is also likely on that list. Every time I think there's too much Wolverine in these movies, I look at Hugh and all those issues wash away. Seriously, the guy is too cool.

I love the passion Hugh has. I wish he wasn't the center all the time though. There are so many good X Men characters that FOX should tap into but never will. It's a shame.

As a Fox "hater"(also known as fair critic) i'd say no because its so easy for people to say "see, cant do it without wolverine" BUT the fact is Wolverine is a HUGE part of Deadpools history so not only a cameo, but he should have a solid, but minor, part.
