These movies are just like Transformers and Fast and Furious, pure dumb fun. And I love em. :D. So happy Ali Larter is returning!!!

Why couldn't the original script for the first film be used. The only one I found entertaining was the second one. At least that one DID stick to the game, although it was nothing but Nemesis. I cant wait for this trash to end so we can get a better series. Maybe Silent Hill can be better too.

I love these movies. The last Resident Evil film was far better than anything Nolan has done with Batman. So much graceful slow motion shots and pointless scenes of running and driving it was just an opera of true film making at its finest.

I find it so strange that, in a time where zombies are so popular, the studio would chose to continue to pump out these pieces of shit instead of rebooting. So much wasted potential here.

That is what these movies are, simply dumb fun action movies. They are not made for intelligence because you already know it's going to insult your intelligence further as you watch it and you know the story is going to be absolute shit. So by critiquing these films you are absolutely retarded. These movies are great on their own level and that is the lowest level in hell you can put yourself through. You know your going to get mad but you can't stop laughing because of how bad and shitty it is. That is what makes these films the true action comedy opera of Hollywood. They take themselves so serious that the audience doesn't anymore. These movies are the saviours we need and by holy Jebus make this not the final chapter continue this legacy of madness I praise you and raise a glass of blood in your name Anderson and you smokin hot Milla Jovovich I will drink the wines of your haters and make them squeeze the drizzles of their crap in the oceans where the bodies of the former tenements lay awake and silent as they continue to hate your success! i can't imagine what it's like to be a fan of the resident evil video game series and then to see these movies.

Resident Evil 1 was pretty good not great but not bad. Resident Evil 2 was some corny fun. The rest of the films were awful pieces of crap films that Anderson and his wife make.

Only good ones were the first two, since then it's basically been the same villain in every film. Kill it with fire!!!!!!!!!!

How does sh!t like this and Paul Blart get sequels, yet we can't get DREDD 2 or Hellboy 3!?

Holy crap did they drop the ball with this series. They should have stuck withe the George A. Romero script for the first, I read it a while back, it was glorious compared to this mess.

People give Resident Evil 4 a lot of shit. I think it's because it opened the floodgates. But for God's sake, it was a classic, and it was Shinji Mikami's last time ever with the series. Resident Evil 5 was a little decent, even though it killed off Wesker in the most angering and disappointing way possible. Then 6 pretty much was the death knell; overabundance of QTE, trying too hard to appeal to every fan (RE and Gears of War), sluggish controls, unskippable cutscenes, so many plot inconsistencies (GamingSins has that covered), horribly slow pace, a criminal waste of great VAs (Roger Craig Smith, Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Troy Baker)... holy shit, the list goes on.

I think Capcom knew they had a mistake, because after that, they ported the light gun games (Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles) and Revelations to the next-gen consoles. Then came the PS4/XBox One remasters of the REmake and RE: Zero via the GameCube, Revelations 2 (which brought back Claire Redfield and made Barry Burton a playable character for the first time), and a supposed REmake of Resident Evil 2!
