Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

I have high, high hopes for this. With the CBM market saturation that is going on, it is the perfect time for Deadpool, especially if they let him hold up a mirror to the genre.

I'm down for this. There's no way its as bad as the other X-films, not with this lead up and the main guy caring so much about the project. Plus...its hard to be worse than the X-Films ( I'm looking at you, Catwoman).
If this lives up to the hype and the hope, I hope all you morons who are slathering over Apocalypse will go see this also and learn what staying true to the soul and character of the source material can be like. But if you like empty movies with explosions and bad movie making..then I can't help ya

This movie looks way better than BvS. I don't expect it to do anything amazing in theaters though. Hopefully it breaks 500M because Reynolds is perfect for this role.

I don't feel this is reaching general audiences.
I hope it's not the next Scott Pilgrim vs the World, cause all the fanboys were hyped up for that, too, but it never made any impact with the general audience.

We'll see if tomorrow's trailer changes that.

Sad to see Hugh Jackman go after the next WOLVERINE film. I wonder if they'll kill him off or just recast. Perhaps they'll introduce his son, James Hudson Jr, as the new Wolverine of the franchise. They would probably have to change his name to James Howlett Jr.
