In an all new description from a user over at Batman-News.com, that got the chance to visit the set, we get to know that the Batcave may have similar design from the one on Batman Begins.

Take this rumor with a grain of salt for now, but the reader ChicagoBat, from the site Batman-News.com had the pleasure to get a tour on the new Batcave that will be used on The Dark Knight Rises, which is currently housed at Sony Studios. It looks like it will be a little bit similar to the one from Batman Begins, but with some changes. Here's what he says about the visiting:

Visiting L.A. and had a friend working at Sony Studios show me the Batcave set. It’s half finished, and pretty much looks like the same set we saw in “Batman Begins”. They’re still completing the quarry walls but the wooden manor foundations were all there in the corner. They may add more set dressing with equipment and such but don’t expect a radical redesign as most fanboys are expecting.

Funny thing was I asked the construction guys if they were using the same blueprints/plans from “Batman Begins” to match continuity, they said no, but as the set resembled the cave from “Begins” and I’m a detail freak who knows the movies, (right down to the waterfall entrance where the tumbler flies through) while they may have had new blueprints I could see it was the same cave from seeing the foundation beams that were iconic from the first movie. Also the stage can hold water, they’ll fill it when the quarry wall work is finished and they pull all the rigging lights up to illuminate the set.

With a cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, The Dark Knight Rises is set to come in July 20th 2012!

I don't think the Nolan films name everything Bat this or Bat That. The Batmobile is called the Tumbler. Batfans are naming everything Bat this or that. It should resemble the old cave because it WOULD BE the old cave. Bruce hasn't moved the mansion. Yes he had a set visit, but he's not seeing a hot set where it is lit properly nor is he seeing footage within context.

Hopefully a 'tricked out' Batcave, but I think Nolan would think that's not realistic. The BB cave was alright because he just became Batman. TDK brightly lit, empty room "Batcave" was deplorable.

hmmm well maybe only a certain part was then

Every one do the Bat-toosy! I hope we see some significant improvements but all his trophies wouldn't make sense since he hasn't face many villains yet. maybe the joker card and Harvey's actual coin.

If you make this more than just a movie

If you devote yourself to a trilogy

Then it becomes something else entirely

A franchise Mr. Nolan, a franchise.

*Gary Oldman in a hospital bed:

GO: We were in this together and then you left to make Inception. Now The Avengers are rising. The Batman must have another movie.

CN: What if I'm out of ideas?

GO: You must...........you must.

I've seen some pics. It's somewhat like the one in arkham asylum, like a main platform with waterfalls around it, possibly scaffoldings, from what I remember.

Nolan isn't going to make it anything like the crazy comic book batcave, have we learned nothing yet? He doesn't care about fanboy dreams, just forget it.
