FAN FIC: Casting the Kingpin!

FAN FIC: Casting the Kingpin!

Kingpin is a very difficult character to cast, so here you have the things we need for our upcoming Wilson Fisk actor to have and some choices...

Excuse me if I have grammar or spelling mistakes, I don't live in an English-Speaking country.

This might be very very strange to hear but I kind of liked the Daredevil movie, but the character that I think stole the show was Kingpin, and that's because it was cast very good. I think Michael Clarke Duncan did a very good job (I actually made an article about it). I know that Kingpin isn't black but I think MCD nailed it. So these days it seems like everybody is taking sides on the race, some saying that it matters and some saying that it doesn't. I personally think it does matter but Kingpin, he is the only exception.

The thing is, i want the characters to feel the same, so with Kingpin, the thing that makes him who he is, is his body. You have to find an actor that has a body similar to Wilson Fisk's, wich is very difficult. So if you can't cast a white man it doesn't matter because you can feel lucky if you found a man whose body is like the character's. So people are always casting fat actors but that is not the Kingpin. Kingpin is strong and fast in combat. He can pick up a person and throw it. Kingpin is not fat! He is BIG!

A popular choice for example is Val Kilmer. So I've seen a picture of him without shirt and he is all chubby and has fat hanging from his arms. This man doesn't look strong or big, he just looks unhealthy. We need a BIG actor, that is the key. So the perfect "big" would be tall, big muscles and big belly, the kind of guy who would be a security guard at the door of a club. MCD had these qualities, that's why i think he was perfect. I actually think that Vin Diesel would nail it if he was a little older. Anyways, just imagine a big guy... You did? That's what we need, that's it. if you can find something like that, it's done, it really doesn't matter if he isn't as bulked up as MCD, that would be perfect but is very difficult to find someone like him. But what is really necesary is that he can't be short, and, if possible, he should be taller than daredevil.

So who could play this man?
I was thinking about Candyman himself, Tony Todd.

I think that he resembles the closest to MCD.

Or...
John Goodman...???

Yes, I know he isn't bulked up but he is gigantic (although I don't know if he has lost weight). He played a criminal boss in the Hangover part 3 and looked cool (not the movie, him) so maybe he could do it.

Running out of choices here, but i still have some ideas. What about Mark Addy?

I have started to watch Game of Thrones (although I don't really know if I like it) and this guy right here plays a king, a boss, that has lots of people courting him and working for him. So he could play Kingpin. And he isn't short, maybe he is not that big but he has a regular size.

Michael Chiklis.

Maybe if he was a little big, but still. Although I would leave him for the last resource.

Anyways, you can change a whole man's body with practical efects and pupetry like it was done with the blob in X-Men origins: Wolverine so there are even more and more possibilities.

Kingpin is a hell of a challenge to cast and I want to see what the upcoming daredevil netflix show has to offer us. I have lots of hope in it and I am waiting to see cool Marvel comics characters in it.

Thanks for reading. I am BaronZemo.
