I will forever wonder what Edgar Wright's Ant-Man would've been.
JFerguson - 7/26/2014, 9:52 PM
This movie is DOOMED
EzioKenway1225 - 7/26/2014, 9:52 PM
the description for this sounds real good imo..

The sequence starts in an empty lab as we hear the voices of Douglas' Pym talking to Rudd's Scott about how "superheroes are a goddamn joke" that just cause a lot of mayhem and destruction. But he needs Scott to take on the mantle of Ant-Man to handle "a small job." The camera snakes through the lab over all this until it finds the silver Ant-Man helmet on a table.

We then cut to Lang in the Ant-Man suit in miniature form running through an alley as he tries to elude his pursuers (possibly the police). He ends up on a ledge where an unseen Pym, via radio headset, instructing Scott what to do. That's when the cavalry shows up: a fly, which at that tiny size sounds like an incoming helicopter and dwarfs Lang. Pym tells Scott to instruct the ant what to do but Scott doesn't yet know how to communicate with the insect.

The fly buzzes away when the pursuers' helicopter hovers into frame. Scott must leap off the ledge, falls out of frame, and then resurfaces on the back of the fly. He makes a quip about it not being all that tough and they fly offscreen.

i am still looking forward to this movie and i hope its good!!

Finding out Edgar left-

How it felt:

How it actually was:
AlexanderLykins - 7/26/2014, 9:56 PM
Reed knows Ant-Man, Wright knows how to make unique movies.
Wiccan - 7/26/2014, 9:57 PM
HAVE TRUST IN THE RUDD.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/26/2014, 9:57 PM
Mark Ruffalo during Paul Rudds interview was hilarious
MrCBM56 - 7/26/2014, 9:58 PM
@AlexanderLykins What the hell are you doing here? You should be on your way to San-diego "Getting the job done".
staypuffed - 7/26/2014, 10:02 PM

"Open up and grown in such an amazing way" Right Rudd, from what ive heard so far? Grown sure, Amazing? Far from it.
EzioKenway1225 - 7/26/2014, 10:07 PM
also apparently th VFX were really good during the piece they showed of ant man so i think Marvel has maybe done alot of the VFX for the movie before hand which i have heard the like to do
EzioKenway1225 - 7/26/2014, 10:08 PM
mrcool-is it honestly because of the changes?..cause even with the chnages..it could be a good movie..the XMEN films have tons of changes but 5 out 7 of those movies are good imo( the bad ones being X3 and Origins imo)
Reasonnnn - 7/26/2014, 10:09 PM
Lol the only people who think this movie is doomed are people who actually follow the film. Casual audiences won't know the "drama" behind the scenes.
MrBlackjack - 7/26/2014, 10:14 PM
Rudd seems to be at home in MCU.
Darktower - 7/26/2014, 10:19 PM

thor2273 - 7/26/2014, 10:39 PM

thor2273 - 7/26/2014, 11:07 PM
@RamonSuarez Yeah but even if he doesn't know people like Captain Marvel or T'Challa at least say Thor or cap
digymastr - 7/26/2014, 11:25 PM
Everyone needs to just shut up about Wright now. He's gone and all your complaining isn't going to bring him back. From these interviews everyone seem to feel right at home and confident about their vision. So just give it a rest already, some of you guys just suck the fun out of everything!
Bl00dwerK - 7/26/2014, 11:25 PM
Is there anything left of this dead horse?
RobertLiefeld - 7/26/2014, 11:30 PM
lol @ this movie. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought Marvel would [frick] up Hank Pym so badly. It's stunning. I really thought that the Mandarin debacle was all Marvel needed to learn that it should stick to its source material. I was wrong. I have literally lost all faith in Marvel, I have stopped buying any Marvel comics, and I will not go see the Avengers or Ant-Man, or any film with Scott Lang in it.

Everyone here that actually reads comics needs to ask themselves how they would feel if their favorite character was treated like this. If they did they wouldn't support this film or at the very least they would be pissed. Because they would understand that Marvel is more than willing to shit all over anything at the behest of any director, so it is very possible it could happen to their favorite character. I wonder who is going to get "Pymed" next?

no one cares about this damn movie marvel, cant believe we get a damn ant man film before black panther or atleast another solo hulk movie.
DSAC294 - 7/26/2014, 11:33 PM
Oh look it's Rob L being a doucher in yet another thread... Shocking!
AgentDrew - 7/26/2014, 11:35 PM
I am holding on faith that Marvel is gonna have another hit on their hand.
patrat18 - 7/26/2014, 11:41 PM
..........................meh
RobertLiefeld - 7/26/2014, 11:54 PM
@DSAC294 I guess anyone is a douche who disagrees with you. That's a winning attitude! Hitler had that same mentality.
McGee - 7/26/2014, 11:59 PM
Hey now....I don't care if you did create Deadpool....no bad mouthing Hitler!
mmadadamm - 7/27/2014, 12:16 AM
doesnt ant man become giant man? and isnt giant man a core member of the avengers?

If anything an ant man film should have been a part of phase 2

Sipprelle - 7/27/2014, 12:27 AM
My god, did anyone see this yet?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua5lUxTqijI

It's the video of the Ant-Man panel and there is a shit-ton of booing throughout. Really unfortunate.
Crabnado - 7/27/2014, 12:40 AM
why was that unfortunate? you've been booing them for months. it's just as cowardly to do it in a large crowd. comic book fans are the worst (sometimes).
Sipprelle - 7/27/2014, 12:45 AM
@Crabnado There's a difference between being getting less excited about something and people being dicks. Get it right kid.
jimoakley666 - 7/27/2014, 12:57 AM
Ha. Ruffalo in the background.
jimoakley666 - 7/27/2014, 12:59 AM
What's up with American women talking through their noses? She pronounces 'Ant Man' as "Eyaynnt Myaaynn". Fuking irritating.
Bigbongtheory - 7/27/2014, 1:12 AM
Yeah, "RobertLiefeld," we all remember Hitler's famous speech about how the Jews were all douches...

Jumping to a Hitler comparison at the drop of a hat pretty much confirms your awfulness as a person. Hitler started a war that cost millions upon millions of lives and led a campaign to wipe out an entire race of people, this guy called you a douche, have some damn perspective.

Seriously though, here's hoping they pull off a really amazing film. There's a lot of talent involved, and Marvel has yet to pull out a dud, so I still have hope.
StrohBot24 - 7/27/2014, 1:24 AM
Despite what everyone has been saying I really have high hopes for this film, especially after the footage description of what was shown at comic con today.
staticdash - 7/27/2014, 1:29 AM
@Crabnado That's ironic, coming from people on this site. Comic book fans are only the worst when something involving Marvel Studio is booed. Apparently, it's not above them when FOX releases FF reboot info, I believe I saw people on this site saying that they hope the cast and directors are booed at Comic Con. It's also amazing that people say to stop hating on movies that aren't even out, yet DC movies and marvel properties by FOX and Sony are met with the highest cynicism. Oh wait, Marvel's earned that trust so we aren't allowed to criticize any of their casting choice or director hires lol.

Sorry guys, but I just had to get that out lol. Been following this movie for a while, and personally I'm feeling like it's going be a flop. Many of my friends who are marvel fans, are now at the "meh" phase.
Azazel1 - 7/27/2014, 1:47 AM
Peyton is a shite director , bottom of the barrel kind of director

It would be much better off with Wright....

kinghulk - 7/27/2014, 2:35 AM
Azazel1- not really after all thanks to wright we have old man pym, ant man lang and hope pym/van dyne. im ok with the changes now but i dont think it would have made much of a difference if he was still involved.
