Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

"heck" indeed.
Floke - 8/13/2014, 11:51 AM
So did Ronan get some kind of galactic lepracy?
StarYeezus - 8/13/2014, 11:52 AM
"I'm afraid I blue myself."
TheAbaryMan369 - 8/13/2014, 11:57 AM
I like it.
DrKinsolving - 8/13/2014, 11:58 AM
Awesome movie, wish we could have seen a little more of Ronan though

MCUfan1 - 8/13/2014, 11:58 AM
Question can Ronan be come back due to him being Kree or no? Also if he does return he should have his green costume.
Doopie - 8/13/2014, 12:02 PM
he looked pretty [frick]ing scary. didn't think much of pace before this came out, wasn't sure he could pull it off. i was wrong
ThePowerCosmic - 8/13/2014, 12:02 PM
They should have the Kree resurrect him with an infinity stone and have him become an anti-hero in his green garb!
MrCBM56 - 8/13/2014, 12:03 PM
Mhm, sexy.
DeusExSponge - 8/13/2014, 12:05 PM
Hopefully he isn't dead and was transported somewhere else. I know it looked like he got killed, but damn that would be a waste of Lee Pace and Ronan.
TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 12:05 PM
Many characters out there in space that can bring him back.
ThePowerCosmic - 8/13/2014, 12:06 PM
Ronan the Redeemer!
Batmaniac - 8/13/2014, 12:08 PM
Lee Pace was fantastic as Ronan!
Best MCU villain to date!
ThePowerCosmic - 8/13/2014, 12:08 PM
If he was brought back somehow, you could imagine he'd want to fight against Thanos. It would be cool if he became an ally to the Guardians.
CaptainObvious - 8/13/2014, 12:08 PM
Boring, cliche, one-dimensional villain. Just like 90% of Marvel's villains.
StarYeezus - 8/13/2014, 12:09 PM
If pink Kree do infact exist in the MCU, I hope they keep the purple eye characteristic to distinguish them from humans.
StarYeezus - 8/13/2014, 12:11 PM
They should hire Lee Pace back to play Mar-Vell.
Ramiel - 8/13/2014, 12:13 PM
Ronan was a Malekith, but with more screen time.
Chcl - 8/13/2014, 12:14 PM
Ronan is the greatest character in GOTG. please, he need to comeback. Lee Pace is a great actor!
yonny616 - 8/13/2014, 12:16 PM
Ronan was meh. Acted well, but still meh.
TankD - 8/13/2014, 12:18 PM
I wonder why they made the eyes so...inhuman. I know hes an alien but that looks crazy. are those the contacts for when he has the power gem?
Rulk - 8/13/2014, 12:20 PM
@BatManiac - Agreed! Ronan is BOSS!
antman8o8 - 8/13/2014, 12:20 PM
so damn awesome!!

Tony93 - 8/13/2014, 12:23 PM
he was as good as meleketh...
KidGoku - 8/13/2014, 12:24 PM
boring villain
DarthSandwich - 8/13/2014, 12:25 PM
He looks like a guy who got run over by a truck and the tire somehow got stuck to his head.
joejoseph461 - 8/13/2014, 12:27 PM
Marvels second best villain behind loki which is saying a lot
StarYeezus - 8/13/2014, 12:30 PM
People here were apparently expecting a monologue/flashback to Ronan's childhood, explicitly stating in detail why he's so evil and intent on avenging his ancestors.
MyloSteamwitz - 8/13/2014, 12:31 PM
I'm really not a fan of the black war paint. It looks like a little kid got into his mother's makeup case...

They should've just gone with a bit at the eyes and under the lip.
SpiderFraud - 8/13/2014, 12:36 PM
I'm usually the first person to talk crap about the MCU villains, but I found Ronan so hilarious compared with the whole movie.

Having Lee Pace go so over the top with villainy was great and he really sold it.

Dude had the most evil ship ever and villain monologues.

He might be my favorite villain in the MCU so far...kinda mad I'm in the minority on this one.
yossarian - 8/13/2014, 12:37 PM
Is anyone having site troubles?
yossarian - 8/13/2014, 12:37 PM
Oh lord there is a Pasto clone! hahahahahahahahaha
SpiderFraud - 8/13/2014, 12:37 PM
.....and he looked like a badly done action figure from the 90's...I LOVE IT!
Klone - 8/13/2014, 12:40 PM
Was that black shit even there for a reason?
LokiOfAsgard - 8/13/2014, 12:40 PM
Looks awesome! Like a nightmare version of a Smurf.
rockerdude22 - 8/13/2014, 12:40 PM
You know, I don't get the complaints about Ronan. Sure, he didn't have a whole lot of backstory, but did he really need to? I mean his motives were pretty clear and understandable, with him not agreeing about the peace treaty because he thinks it means that his father and ancestors died in war for nothing. He was also very menacing and was a good enough threat for a movie like this that needed to set up five main heroes without solo films. Way better villain than Malekith IMO
cipher - 8/13/2014, 12:40 PM
Ah, yes.. there seems to be a problem on my end as well. Don't worry, man, it ain't just you.
cipher - 8/13/2014, 12:41 PM
I see one of the clones has taken a wrong turn at the corner of Earth 616 and Bizarroworld.
Klone - 8/13/2014, 12:42 PM
Those purple eyes looks brilliant though.
cipher - 8/13/2014, 12:43 PM
Is that true, @Pasto?

I am a deliciously charismatic specimen.
