First Avenger: Captain America Ideas

Check out some great ideas I have about the film. I need your opinions.
Do you guys know what would be an awesome idea? What if the film starts and ends in modern times.

Have the film start off with SHIELD searching for Captain America in a submarine. Nick Fury is the head of the crew on the Submarine. The crew isn't sure what Fury is looking for, they follow his orders regardless. Then one of the crew gets the guts to ask Fury, " Sir, what exactly are we looking for?" Fury gives an epic response. It all leads to a time lapse back in time.
Then the WW2 era begins.

At the end of the WW2 era part of the film, show Steve Rogers falling in the water to be freeze for nearly sixty-five years. We then switch back over to modern times as Nick Fury finishes up his story.

How do you guys like the idea?

Another way they could do this, is have an 86 year old Bucky Barnes telling the story.

it'd be nice to just have em start it off as a normal film....a cap film....no recall etc....it's a good concept you have but it seems too resemblant of titanic...which isnt necessarily a bad thing...
my personal belief is to just go at it from ww2...battle the nazis and his villains etc...have the plane crash (cuz we want bucky to perish or maybe set up as winter soldier for the sequel)...it ends with rogers saving the day...and we finish with fury and shield harvesting him from the arctic with the aid of stark...and with the aid of a secret group of ppl (turns out to be namor and an atlantean contingent with whom fury has a hidden agenda)...this leaves room to incorporate material such as namor into avengers (although i heard marvel has no namor rights)...and of course the winter soldier for a sequel...we end with cap awaking askin where he is...fury tells him when...not where

and BUCKY'S, WINTER SOLDIER in the comics!?

Though i like your picks for CAP, well apart from RYAN in the OC of course lol.

This could work, but i dunno, it would be sweeter starting from the start and seeing, cough cough, er Fury at the end maybe. : P

My only problem with this is it sounds entirely too..."Ultimate-y". I don't have a problem with the Ultimates per se, but I view them as being an extra long "what if...?" story. But, good concept nevertheless.

TBH im not really sure...there are a lot of actors/faces that would be suitable for cap and bucky. But the sad fact is none of them in my personal opinion would be able to hold up a major film lke this..which it needs to be.... "a major film". When it was revealed that RDJ was gonna be Iron Man...i dont think there was a single person who kicked up a fuss or were worried about his acting ability but it just fit...it was just right. With Cap i feel its got to be the same or it will stop people going to see it, or they will go and see it but will have already have made their decision that it is rubbish because of the guy playing cap.

In my honest opinion..i think Brad Pit would be a sick Captain America..we know he an act...we know he can kick ass and we kow he can hold a big film and i dont really think too many people would worry about going to see it because Brad's a G and he'll put bums on seats "if you pardon the english expression" lol. I know it sort of the same thing with Leo but...i cant really see him as a super soldier or someone thats gonna kick the crap out the hulk for example lol. I just see him as Jack from Titanic letting go of that bit of wood and drowning at the end lol. Or...thinking about it...he actually froze at the end of titantic didnt he?? Which would be relevant to the Cap story line given they retrieve Cap from the ice at the start of the film. Ironic much??
