Following the first Marvel One-Shot, The Consultant, the second, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to Thor's Hammer, has hit the net from the blu-ray release of Captain America: The First Avenger. Featuring an ass-kicking Clark Gregg, in-character as The Avengers' Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, Phil Coulson, check out the awesome four-minute video below, courtesy of Twitter's LeithenantJack!




Marvel's The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

That's what the problem was with the Avengers trailer, not enough Coulson. I mean only one line sooooo "underwhelming.

Haha, that was awesome. Everything Clark Gregg does is entertaining.

And OF COURSE Coulson's a badass, he's an agent of SHIELD! You have to be that badass to be a SHIELD agent, I think that's one of the things they're trying to convey here.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D the MOVIE (DVD)

Nick Fury, Agent Coulson, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Maria Hill.

None of these actors are above straight-to-dvd, the story doesn't have to be FX-Heavy and it could be released pior to Iron Man 3.
