Outing the extended minute-long Super Bowl ad roughly two weeks ago, an up-to-date theatrical trailer for Marvel Studios' "best outing yet," The Avengers, is very well much-needed. And with Andrew Stanton's John Carter flick nearing it's March 9th release, placing an exclusive Avengers trailer in front of it, a la WB's The Dark Knight Rises prologue and Mission Impossible 4, would be a smart distributive move on Disney's part. Now accordingly, I stumbled across the following via The Avengers' German Facebook profile, making things official.

BAAAM! In a week it's finally back so far: A brand new trailer from Marvel's the Avengers will be published next Wednesday at 6 pm. Who do you see more in this trailer? (Translated by Bing)

Considering the German Facebook page is the only one saying so, this new trailer will more than likely be German-dubbed. Of course, they could be the first of many, so be on the lookout! What do you think?

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. Prepare yourself for an exciting event movie, packed with action and spectacular special effects, when “Marvel’s The Avengers” assemble on May 4, 2012. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. In addition to "Marvel's The Avengers," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Iron Man 3" on May 3, 2013!; and “Thor 2” on November 15, 2013.

DudeGuyMan - 2/22/2012, 9:29 AM
Awesome! I just hope that it has new footage instead of just rehashing the Super Bowl footage.
TheBigBoss917 - 2/22/2012, 9:31 AM
Great News, watching all Marvel Studios movies while getting near summer, just watched Incredible Hulk and i want some more green in this new trailer.
Benjamitesandwich - 2/22/2012, 9:31 AM
More who? More ALIENS?! Please? How about Marvel can quite douching around with me and finally just tell us who Loki's army is. I have almost given up trying to find out.

New trailer better be epic!
MassExecutions - 2/22/2012, 9:34 AM
So far we've been missing one of the most important parts of the movie: Hulk vs Thor! Gotta have 15 minutes of that in the final film, I say.
HelaGood - 2/22/2012, 9:35 AM
CANT WAIT!
HelaGood - 2/22/2012, 9:35 AM
maybe this one will be more of the story... and how the plot plays out...
heroyoudeserve - 2/22/2012, 9:37 AM
I wanna see more Cap. America scenes. I wanna see if his helmet looks any better in the actual film, cause the pics i've seen have him looking horrible
DudeGuyMan - 2/22/2012, 9:37 AM
@Benjamitesandwich exactly. We need story!
KungFuKoala - 2/22/2012, 9:43 AM
This trailer hits, and I'm outta here!

More than likely it will reveal who the aliens are, and also give away the entire plot as did all the other 2nd trailers for the other Marvel movies. So I will be going CBM.com cold turkey!
MrSuperheromoviefan - 2/22/2012, 9:43 AM
coooooool

Honestly I don't want to see a new trailer right now, I'm still enjoying the last one :)
bbarber2323 - 2/22/2012, 9:51 AM
Just curious...why do people wanna see more Hulk SO bad?? I mean, I'm a Hulk fan too, but my only fear is that he won't be in the movie that much as it stands. If that truly is the case, I don't wanna see 80% of what's in the movie in the trailer(regarding Hulks part). Did that make sense??
Gmoney84 - 2/22/2012, 9:51 AM
Hope this is true. Next Wednesday will be a blast!
TheIconicMan - 2/22/2012, 9:51 AM
OH MAN. NEXT WEEK WILL BE A GOOD WEEK!
Seejay - 2/22/2012, 9:54 AM
@MassExecutions
Agree; Thor vs. Hulk is required.

Hulk better not be under powered in this film.
MassExecutions - 2/22/2012, 9:58 AM
@Seejay - Yessir. At least from the superbowl spot it looks like Hulk is as he should be!
Hawksblueyes - 2/22/2012, 9:58 AM
It may not be this trailer but I have the feeling the "mystery" villain will be revealed soon. If the character is as big and bad as reports have stated, Marvel damn sure plans to use him in their marketing push.
Wildaniel - 2/22/2012, 9:59 AM
More then half of it will be the SB trailer, lol.

I hope that we get it with out the German dubs, besides didn't we already get a German dubbed trailer? Oh well. Still can't wait.
Tainted87 - 2/22/2012, 10:17 AM
I don't want to see another trailer - keep things under wraps as much as possible. Man, I don't know if I can stop myself from watching it.
HULK2099 - 2/22/2012, 10:19 AM
Finally!!!!!
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 2/22/2012, 10:19 AM
I would sure think so, the movies coming out in a little over 2 months
PaulRom - 2/22/2012, 10:22 AM
@Gusto Nah, I'll take ya to see Titanic in 3D. :D
MassExecutions - 2/22/2012, 10:22 AM
Sounds like Gusto already got his birthday gift: Tuberculosis.
CrowPirate1 - 2/22/2012, 10:25 AM
I'm glad they are getting a new trailer.

all their shit just can't fit into the ones they have on set now!! I mean.. they have 72 pairs of purple xxxxxxl pants that keep getting ruined alone!!

hope this trailer's real big!
marvel72 - 2/22/2012, 10:27 AM
excellent,i can feel the groin area of my jeans tightning as we speak.
NOLANITE - 2/22/2012, 10:29 AM
1. Cap Am's costume looks right out of Ringling Bros Circus.
2. Whedon sucks.
3. "Loki's Army" is composed of a million Play-doh figures.
4. Hulk will be Under powered, of course. I mean really hulk vs Loki...whod win? Hulk of course...but it wont come out that way.
5. A re hashed trailer is likely.
6. Id rather see Gusto with his Cane on Wall street than this.
7. Wheres tbag and his boob pics?
8. Im waiting for grif to come up with an Avengers Poll.
9. Im siding with TASM over this.
10. The Lizard with no snout and no lab coat easily beats any costume in this flick.
11. And Finally.....Nolan FTW!
Kayo - 2/22/2012, 10:31 AM
MARVEL IS WINNING NOLANITE.............OH AND YEAH, TDKR = CSI: GOTHAM SEASON THREE.
Hulk2008 - 2/22/2012, 10:39 AM
MORE HULK & ALIENS!!!!!!

marvel72 - 2/22/2012, 10:39 AM
team winning aka marvel studio's.
FightAs0ne - 2/22/2012, 10:39 AM
I find it very weird how these so called "nolanites" will support any nolan movie but I dont see them supporting most DC movies like some marvel fans...

I guess people have no loyalties....
