Marvel.com has provided great close-up photos of each individual armor from Tony Stark's updated Hall of Armor, as seen in the forthcoming Iron Man 3 movie. First revealed on the convention floor yesterday, check them out below! There's also a CNet video interview with Marvel's director of communications, Arune Singh, in which he reassures us fanboys are in for some big surprises during Marvel Studios' panel this weekend.

Described as a “technological crisis thriller,” set in the world of international war, arms & terror, Marvel Studios' “Iron Man 3” stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Andy Lau, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale, with Sir Ben Kingsley and Jon Favreau. Shane Black (“Kiss Kiss Bang Bang”) takes over directorial duties from Jon Favreau, who helmed the first two “Iron Man” films. Principal photography will occur primarily in North Carolina and China. And “Iron Man 3” is set for release in May 3, 2013.

Favorite is the Avengers suit.. LOVE how bulky and heavy-duty it is. Hope they use it in Iron Man 3.
Knightrider - 7/12/2012, 3:04 PM
Mark 7 looks cool, I know this is just a comic-con promo, but we have seen the set pic of the hall of armour, where the mark 2 is there. Yes he could have built another one (Why? As doesn't seem to make sense as to why he would, but not repair the damage to the mark 3), but, and I doubt it will detract from my enjoyment from the movie, I hope it isn't just there, without any explanation, like how War Machine wasn't in the Avengers without any explanation, Yeah I can live without it, but it will niggle away at me.

7 Armors of Badassery
SageMode - 7/12/2012, 3:06 PM
Mark VII and Mark IV are my favorites as far as how they look
LucasMend - 7/12/2012, 3:08 PM
Mark V :) aka Silver Centurion
santoanderson - 7/12/2012, 3:15 PM
Part of me hopes the Mk VIII has a slightly different looking face/helmet. Maybe some different eyes.
revloveR - 7/12/2012, 3:15 PM
i want one. a real one though.
CaptainObvious - 7/12/2012, 3:16 PM
How come he fixed all the other armors, but not Mark III?
PersonaPostOvo - 7/12/2012, 3:17 PM
It'd be funny if someone was really in there and popped out to scare people.
MARVELPSYCHO79 - 7/12/2012, 3:18 PM
Tony Stark is BOSS!Can't wait for IM3.
third3ye - 7/12/2012, 3:18 PM

Pissed
JonathaNisMagnuM - 7/12/2012, 3:23 PM
& to the people who are wondering why the MK III is the only suit showing its battle damaged form, maybe Tony wanted to keep that one the same because it was from his 1st adventure as Iron Man?!?
TheBeard - 7/12/2012, 3:25 PM
So awesome, DAMN IT wish i was at comic-con
BrotherStarkofMABMindz - 7/12/2012, 3:26 PM
Seven Mark armors, how will Shane Black top the predecessors?
musashi - 7/12/2012, 3:28 PM
Those are badass!

Okay, if Iron Man can make multiple armors and others can use them (Rhodey) then why doesn't Stark create an Iron Man army?

And an age old question: Why doesn't he make one out of Adamantium and Vibranium?
laughterman26 - 7/12/2012, 3:31 PM
they should make comic cons for australia, and supanova doesnt count because the stars rarely ever show, and there are barely any comic book celebritys.
laughterman26 - 7/12/2012, 3:32 PM
@musashi because he has one made out of uru metal
dracula - 7/12/2012, 3:33 PM
i still dont get is why is the mark 3 still mest up the mark 5 6 and 7 got way more damaged
laughterman26 - 7/12/2012, 3:33 PM
though im not sure as to how thats going to work out, since the movie said it was made out of a dying star
BlackFlash - 7/12/2012, 3:35 PM
Mark VII FTW I like the bulkiness.
spideyboy - 7/12/2012, 3:46 PM
I want one. Now. And rule the world.
kemuael - 7/12/2012, 3:56 PM
wish i was there to take some pics of those armours :-D
musashi - 7/12/2012, 3:57 PM
@laughterman26 that armor was awesome!! Too bad he couldn't bring that one back to earth!
MGS - 7/12/2012, 3:58 PM
Other than the Mark I, they all retain the same faceplate. I would like to see subtle differences with each new upgrade like in the comics.
IgnurRant - 7/12/2012, 4:14 PM
Take a good look. After IM3, it will be the stupid cybernetic android extremis Tony Stark B.S.

Marvel Phase 2: Begining of the end.
MarkV - 7/12/2012, 4:19 PM
BADDASS!!!!
Altair - 7/12/2012, 4:24 PM
Iron Man 3 [frick] YEAH!!!!

Hoping we see a guest appearance by Mark IIX(?), a teaser, or an announcement on Kingsley's character.
marvel72 - 7/12/2012, 4:28 PM
iron man armour = best superhero costume/suit ever.
bbarber2323 - 7/12/2012, 4:32 PM
@personalpostovo....ya, real funny....moron.
NeoBaggins - 7/12/2012, 4:52 PM
Those suits= Sick.
DukeAcureds - 7/12/2012, 4:54 PM
Owlman@ Haiku?
DragonofDarknessXIII - 7/12/2012, 5:05 PM
I gotta get me one of those
DangerKiD - 7/12/2012, 5:09 PM
The Mk V suitcase armor from Iron Man 2 and the Mk V III armor from Avengers are my favorite Iron Man suit's. I cannot wait to see the next new suit they teased with those Comic-Con concept art posters.
StarkAnthony - 7/12/2012, 5:12 PM
Okay as others have noted the only one he didn't fix was the mark iii, but a better question is why he only fixed part of it. The helmet was crushed. Why only fix parts of it?
dracula - 7/12/2012, 5:13 PM
need to bring in hulk buster armor
Logan074 - 7/12/2012, 5:14 PM
I am curious how he has the Mark II on display when that one was stolen by Rhodes and made into War Machine
ThePowerCosmic - 7/12/2012, 5:15 PM
Mark V is my favorite looking suit, even though it is pretty useless.
R888 - 7/12/2012, 5:22 PM
7 suits of badass
Montross - 7/12/2012, 5:45 PM
Logan074 brings up a good point, but he doesn't go far enough. Not only should the mark II suit not be there since Rhodey stole it and Hammer made War Machine out of it, Tony shouldn't have the Mark I since Raza took was was left of it after Tony crashed in the desert in Iron Man 1.
ElChavo - 7/12/2012, 5:45 PM
Best set of armory any superhero has ever known! [frick]in' BOSS!
TexasAvenger - 7/12/2012, 5:50 PM
Best superhero ever. The Mark VII is definitely the best armor of the bunch.
Limehead - 7/12/2012, 5:53 PM
Next time babay
OrganizedChaos - 7/12/2012, 5:55 PM
damn that Mark V suitcase armor is so sick! Definitely reminiscent of the silver centurion armor
shaddowkhan - 7/12/2012, 6:13 PM
What are the differences? I see 3 different armors.
Jollem - 7/12/2012, 6:24 PM
i thought there was a nod to the silver centurion armor for a quick second in iron man 1 in a hologram.

mark IV is my faves
Jaspion - 7/12/2012, 6:25 PM
Mark VI is the same as Mark IV, except for the color scheme and of course, the triangle chest piece. But I prefer Mark IV.

He used 3 armor in each IM movie, how many will he use in this one?
NeoBaggins - 7/12/2012, 6:37 PM
"Those are badass!

Okay, if Iron Man can make multiple armors and others can use them (Rhodey) then why doesn't Stark create an Iron Man army?"
-musashi

Because he's a narcissistic asshole that doesn't work well with others. There's not enough people he knows that he would trust with wearing the suits.

"And an age old question: Why doesn't he make one out of Adamantium and Vibranium?"-musashi

I don't know about FOX Studios Adamantium, but MARVEL has definitely got room to explore Vibranium with a Stark suit- however, the plot point is useless and would only be important for a single line of dialog.
DarthTesla - 7/12/2012, 6:38 PM
For me, its gotta be a tie between the briefcase suit and the Avengers suit.
