StarkAnthony - 12/3/2012, 8:32 AM
must be gunning for some kind of record of the actor who has played the same character in the most movies, would this be his seventh outing? X1, X2, X3, Origins, First Class (cameo) The Wolverine...
Preston - 12/3/2012, 8:33 AM
Hugh Jackman has been very dedicated to this universe; he has appeared in every X-men based movie.

Even having a cameo role in XM:FC ---

He is a mandatory staple in these films.
DCjohnny - 12/3/2012, 8:35 AM
it would be awesome if he is one of the major roles....
DCjohnny - 12/3/2012, 8:38 AM

NerdyGeek - 12/3/2012, 8:43 AM
I'm so bloody sick of Wolverine in these films to be honest...
toco89 - 12/3/2012, 8:47 AM
Can't even see the video on the AH website.
MutantEquality - 12/3/2012, 8:48 AM
@dcjohnny they do cowls in the Avengers universe. Someone somewhere has already decided that we will never see wolverine in a cowl so I don't think it's going to happen.
GodzillaKart - 12/3/2012, 8:54 AM
Makes sense, but I'm ready for the character to be recast.
GodzillaKart - 12/3/2012, 8:55 AM
@saxowolf: impaled wolverine taking a dump?
Tony93 - 12/3/2012, 8:59 AM

ME: Are you going too Logan?

LOGAN: Of course!

ME: then it will be fun...
DarthStimpy - 12/3/2012, 9:05 AM
How is this movie even going to make any damned since? At the end of First Class Prof X earned his handicap spot and in X3 he was WALKING with Magneto to meet Jean grey not to mention the Emma frost nod in Origins. I like the idea of a subtle reboot with nods to the previous movies but dont tie them together. Singer started the series off lame (X2 was ok) but First class has a real chance at making the series go in the right direction and now the Singer has it again its going to go right back into the toilet.
StrangerX - 12/3/2012, 9:09 AM
@DarthStimpy-I would say DOFP is the perfect storyline to correct all the continuity problems since there are alternate timelines within the stor; however, it is FOX and you never know.
KaneVonDoom - 12/3/2012, 9:09 AM
Might as well... He's been great as Wolverine despite the lackluster directing of Singer (so far), Ratner and Hood.

The director that has best captured Wolverine at the moment is Vaughn in my opinion... and that was only one line.
KNIGHT3000 - 12/3/2012, 9:10 AM
At 1st back in the day I didn't like Jackman cause he's so tall despite how much he really does look like Logan, considering Logan is short. But I truly believe he not only earned the role, but owns it. I really appreciate that.

May he be Wolverine forever...
Tony93 - 12/3/2012, 9:14 AM
I'd say he goes right up there with RDJ, both are great actors willing to sacrifice time and effort for the fans, and having responsibility for Thier roles
Spidex3000 - 12/3/2012, 9:16 AM
Yea, this is the best move for fox, they can wipe out all continuity errors, bring Jean Grey and Cyclops back, possibly give us the original first class team. Who knows.
Azazel1 - 12/3/2012, 9:18 AM
I dont like this only because I do not want the film to be about Wolverine..
MrNiklander - 12/3/2012, 9:26 AM
@Tony93 yeah but dont' you think you should post in a Superman related article
Inhuman - 12/3/2012, 9:26 AM
the most simple way to fix all the continuity problems is somehow make origins, the last stand, and the wolverine come from an alternate timeline. it would look like this...

ALTERNATE TIMELINE
*x-men: first class
*x-men origins: wolverine
*x1
*x2
*x-men: the last stand
*the wolverine... (have logan time travel to days of future past movie)

PRESENT CANON TIMELINE
*x-men: first class
*x-men: days of future past
*x1
*x2
*x3.... (new x-men movie with singer returning with full cast to make a proper sequel to x2 with jean grey coming back as the fire phoenix and no dead xavier or cyclops)
*deadpool spin-off... (since the deadpool from origins is from an alternate timeline they can re-do a proper deadpool origin story)
jimpinto24 - 12/3/2012, 9:31 AM
I say Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Logan.
CharacterAssassin - 12/3/2012, 9:31 AM
Amazing how they keep referencing him to as "The Wolverine" rather than "Logan". Without Wolverine in the title, this would be another bottom drawer movie.
BANEofExistence - 12/3/2012, 9:32 AM
He will return, he's the main character in every xmen film (except first class) and woo wrine was major in the days of future past. I kinda hope this film is a form of a reboot to the xmen series :P basically fixes what x3 [frick]ed up. I still prey one day to get Cyclops (hopefully James Marsden) Angel (Ben Foster) Beast Iceman Colossus Nightcrawler Rogue and Jean on the same team at the same time. No need for storm if it's Halle berry :P
Inhuman - 12/3/2012, 9:39 AM
@BANE... the only way they can fix the continuity is if they somehow make origins, the last stand and the wolverine come from an alternate timeline. logan from those 3 movies is the same logan that time travels to days of future past movie which would automatically make the events from origins, the last stand and the wolverine non-canon and singer can do a proper x2 sequel with jean grey coming back as the fire phoenix which he intended and nobody is dead
DCjohnny - 12/3/2012, 9:43 AM
@Tony93 yeah its 99% iam excited tooooooo... i keep checking that page in every 5 mim... i have even bookmarked it ....... man cant wait for it
Happy11 - 12/3/2012, 9:51 AM
Simple it's only a film. If it has a good story, acting and action then I'll forget that prof x died or wolverine is 6ft so get over it.
gambgel - 12/3/2012, 9:58 AM
lets hope he is a supporting character this time.

The x-men universe needs to be expanded with better roles for the other mutants, so lets hope Singer and Fox have learned a few leasons after The Avengers.
AnungUnRama - 12/3/2012, 9:58 AM
@dcjohnny @Tony93 Can you post a link to that page, please. You made me curious.
Matador - 12/3/2012, 10:12 AM
Only in CBM can they combine reading about the future of the X-men franchise and reading up on dating Flipino female hotties.
nuclearpriest - 12/3/2012, 10:15 AM
I love how the interviewer cuts off an interesting line of conversation about "Days of future past" to do her five claw bit, great journalism Michelle.
Optimus83 - 12/3/2012, 10:35 AM
is good to be made to speak. ...

That will give us a much closer adaptation and faithful to the comic

es bueno que se pongan a hablar. ...

eso nos ofrecerá una adaptación mucho más cercana y fiel al comic
JohnnyKrypton - 12/3/2012, 10:38 AM
"Also [frick] no to Cyclops being in this film. He wasn't even in the Days of Future Past storyline."

He also didn't die in the Pheonix Saga, nor was Wolverine the hero - these are not literal translations.

BRING BACK CYCLOPS!

watching the gifs from First Class posted in the first comments, we can tell James McAvoy was almost laughing while shooting the scene, lol.

Thats probably one of the reasons why they spent three hours shooting it :D
DarthTesla - 12/3/2012, 10:49 AM
Sweet, this is good news.

i'd be fine with him appearing in the future, but not yet a major character or member of the first class x-men team
FirstAvenger - 12/3/2012, 11:12 AM
He's part of the story so makes sense.
