Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios.

Where'd you find that??
Would be pretty interesting if he looses his hand... Replace the flesh n bone with infinity gauntlet. Haha, probably not but he would be pretty O.P if it did happen
Minato - 8/29/2013, 5:30 PM
Love how he doesn’t have a staff in this movie but they are selling the $#!* out of that knife.

[frick] your spoilers!
NeoBaggins - 8/29/2013, 6:32 PM
Sick animated EMPIRE covers.

@GodOfMischief

Loki's villainous status has to be defined by the director. Branagh put him on the right track, then Whedon de-clawed him. But judging by the medieval grit and reputation of the current director, he might steer Loki back into a more epic direction.

little pissed at that spoiler there, but excited as hell for the potential of the Destroyer Arm.

I think I may have to get someone to help me steal one of those Loki standee posters. But shhhh you never heard me say that
aztecRaingod - 8/29/2013, 8:58 PM
I like how hes wearing his helmet on that lunch box looking thing (probably just to [frick] with us)
aztecRaingod - 8/29/2013, 9:00 PM
Thors helmet sucks compared to all the other Asgardians.
It looks a little goofy, they did the wings all wrong. They are not flared out enough. From a frontal view, they almost look like antennae or small horns.
NeoBaggins - 8/30/2013, 1:13 AM
@GodOfMischief

Yeah, everyone was able to get a piece of him and his army was weak and disposable also. But I think Dark World puts him in a unique position to at least be a despicable villain if raw power is not the plan. I would have preferred his character play the background for a later film so that he's missed and makes a grand return. But if he HAS TO BE in this film with a prominent role, the forced alliance storyline is at least a different approach- tho THOR is an idiot for his continued regard for Loki.
fearitself18 - 8/30/2013, 4:21 AM
Yep, not even in the least excited about about this movie. I think the last trailer I saw was probably the most boring and cringe-worthy trailer for ANY Marvel movie.
knocturnalzen10 - 8/30/2013, 5:24 AM
wonder if the hand cutting is an illusion
aztecRaingod - 8/30/2013, 7:14 AM
This, THIS is what Thors helmet should have looked like (rest of the costume is meh)

dannybosa - 8/30/2013, 8:29 AM
