i think Catwoman works for Bane, she does his bidding out of fear, she rather be on the winning side than the losing. But i think she will eventually team up with Batman because she has a heart, before double crossing him at the end and leading him into Banes trap, before yet again realizing the error of her ways and helping him.

That was done to show Tony had been shot & killed by the man wearing the "members only" jacket, we were essential seeing through Tony's eyes and saw what he saw, nothingness, darkness.

Unless they go the same route for Bruce (unlikey) I doubt that'll be how it ends.
