Joey King Drops MAJOR Spoiler About THE DARK KNIGHT RISES!

13-year-old Joey King is likely to get an earful from Warner Bros after a recent interview with My Entertainment World. King talked a little about The Dark Knight Rises, but also revealed who she’ll be playing. Spoilers after the jump.

For people following the production of the movie intensely, it won't be that much of a surprise but if you want to know absolutely nothing about the movie before release, stop reading right here...

What follows is an excerpt from the interview

Christopher Nolan’s Batman franchise is one of the biggest in the world, was it intimidating jumping on board for The Dark Knight Rises?

It was so cool, I had an amazing time. I got to travel to places I’d never been to before. Christopher Nolan is so nice, so is Christian Bale. I just had the best time.

What’s your role in that film? (Highlight the text below to reveal the spoiler.)

I play young Talia al Ghul. I can’t give too much away because I promised Mr. Nolan I wouldn’t say anything. There are too many secrets about the character and the movie.

Well I guess that settles that then! It's been long rumored that she would be playing Talia in the movie, and now she's confirmed it I guess that's also a form of confirmation that Marion Cotillard will be playing an older Talia. If you listen closely, you can hear the sound of Nolan's ninjas preparing their next mission...

The Dark Knight Rises is released July 20 and stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Joey King and Morgan Freeman.

Like that name she mentioned doesn't count as 'too much'! Poor little girl...she will have to spend the rest of her life hunted down by Nolan.

Aww, feel a bit sorry for her. Hey [frick] it kid, we all knew Talia was in it anyway. Nolan and WB want to keep as much from the public as possible, fine. But if they are going to do that then slip ups are inevitable.

SOME FEW MONTHS LATER

Reported "So little (naive) girl, do you like sweets?..."

Girl "I was in the new Batman movie"

Reported "Oh right. That's average. I hate Batman. So, who'd you play?"

Girl "Young Talia" *chokes on candy* "ah shoot..."

She's only a kid. She didn't know this was some huge Federal secret. And she didn't reveal anything that most people haven't already figured out. If Nolan has a problem with this, tough toenails. This isn't like the darkest secrets of the CIA, it's a damn movie.

What doesn't make sense is why a young Talia Al Ghul would have scenes with Christian Bale ... ?? ?

(unless they shoot the flashback scenes in the same place as the modern scenes)

not to surprising. i expect to see new characters in this film. Nolan never recycles characters in his film unless it is the main characters carrying over from the previous film.

cherry has a good point there. interesting to see how it plays out. kinda sucks for the kid to give away a spoiler if she gets in trouble for it...but knowing nolan he couldve told her to say that so we speculate and talia isnt even in the movie at all lol

Nolan is a stand up guy i'm sure. of course he likes to keep his secrets - but at the end of the day he's gotta realize this is a kid. you can't get mad..... it's a kid!

plus - we all saw this coming. 95% of the people who see this movie will not have seen this interview.
