Ultimate Universe: Superman Cast

I think we should class the DC Cinematic Universe as their equivilant to Marvel's Ultimate Comic. After the 3rd Batman, there will be no more, so why not make a spin-off comic. Batman will be in the Justice League played by Christian Bale I am sure, he will be up for it after the success of The Avengers. Anyway, here is the cast for a reboot in Christopher Nolan's eyes. (I am a complete Routh nutter, but it won't happen sadly :( sorry Lee, just thinking realistically)

Really good casting Nicholsy!! Probably the best casting ive seen of Superman in a while

Henry Cavill= good Superman

Ralph Fiennes= Perfect Lex Luther!!

Everyone else is really good casting. Good job bro :D

perfect casting! i shall clap! but maybe sam neill as jonathan kent (he can be uncle ben too...) and georgia moffet (she was at an episode of doctor who) as supergirl? (only because SG is british i think...)

Great casting man. The only people I don't totally buy are the Kents; Hoffman and Keaton just seem too urbane to be Kansas farmers, I couldn't see Hoffman riding a tractor for 13 hours a day.

In an odd way I've always thought a clean shaven Sam Elliott would be a great Mr. Kent. Just imagine his voice delivering lines like "Son, you are here for a reason."
I could see Sam Niell or even Scott Glenn too. And there's always Tommy Lee Jones.

@Nicholsy: Thanks, man. I love Spacek, I hadn't seen her for a while and then she popped up in Four Christmases and I thought, "Man she's the right age now for Ma Kent now," and it just fit. I always saw the Kents as having a bit of a twang to their voice so most of my picks have a drawl of one type or another. But like I said the cast as a whole that you picked out is really great, man.

thanks nicholsy! also, spacek is awesome... here's a manip of hugo as brainiac (imagine him with alot of make-up and CGI to make all of his human artibbutes except the shape of his face dissapear and also have him a huge head:

Wow...0_o...Awesome fan cast there. But, I'm not feeling Olivia Wilde as Lois Lane though, sorry.
REALLY not feeling it.
And Dustin Hoffman as Jonah Kent?....I...I would actually like to pick your brain on that logic. I'm honestly curious as why you think Dustin Hoffman (Rainman, Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium) would make a good "Pa" Kent.
