Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

I gotta say ... I like the gray[er] version of this suit used in The Dark Knight. This looks a little too shiny/leathery for my taste.

It's funny, In the Avengers, the world is threatened but it only feels like the city is at stake. In the Dark Knight Rises trailer, the city is threatened but it feels like the world is at stake.

OK, We've seen the BatSuit, it's the same one from the last film, I'm getting tired if hype. Some movies need it, but this, and the AVENGERS, don't!! Let's be honest about something, did they really need to show anything beyond the logo for this film???

Ya best looking Batman ever. Tim Burton's just looked awkward and Schumaker's was just flat out gay, pun intended.

@ XAVIERSFINEST I think they added cheek bones on the cowl because john blake puts on the cowl.... I feel Nolan is going to mess with the time line like he did in prestiege and memento but we wont know were looking at JGL. And to be honest they sort of look the same around the mouth and chin

I understand how this suit works in regards to realism but why has everyone since 1989 stuck with the colour all Black...

I Hope in the Reboot we get a closer looking costume to the comic book grey and blue or Arkham City costume...

Tell me this would not work in a movie...

Aussyface, that Batman would look so lame and weird in a movie. I would not be able to take him seriously.

hate the small face area, any smaller and it will be a ski mask.

I am ready for a suit reboot. Never got why they took the time to show Bruce Wayne training to become Batman in this franchise and then put him in this armoured jigsaw mess instead of a lightweight suit that he could actually move and fight in.

Concept: Win

Execution: Fail.
