Two New THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Stills Released

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

Nolan goes on to say "She is so iconic that I am going to f*ck with her look util she hardly resembles Cat-woman anymore, get a weird looking actress to play her, and not even call her Cat-woman in the film."

These pics are EPIC!! Especially the second one. Fox's hand out like that!! WOW!! And those costumes, what else can you say...EPICNESS!! Surely by these two pics alone, there is no doubt that TDKR-WXYZ will own the box office this year and next and the following year. Just kidding, it should be a good movie. Prediction: Tomato-meter 85%

Why do I get the vibe that in the scene when Bane fights Batman, Catwoman sets him up and helps trap him there so Bane can break him? Certainly looks that way from here.

the catwoman 1 is the one from the 3rd trailer
right when alfred said "i wont bury you..."
they show bruce/batman turning around...and sees bane walking towards him...and catwoman behind him talking to him right before he turns around to see bane
its def. a trap..and she def. sees him kicking bruce/batmans ass BADLY!
just look at that face...."omg bane did that to bruce" wow!

also i think the catwoman is from the second trailer...where they show her backing up from the gates in that picture...like shes backing away as she see bruce getting [frick]ed up..

Anne Hathaway looks great as Selina Kyle there. I still can't believe she won't ever be referred to as Catwoman in TDKR.

Also, is the the same jacket Bruce gave to that homeless man in Batman Begins?

@yossarian Give him a break. Bruce Wayne has been spending most of the last eight years in a prison. :P

Actually, Batman Begins boosted Nolan's career as much as Bale's. Hard for a Nolan worshipper to grasp, I know, but Nolan had only Momento under his belt before BB (and Momento was freaking awesome), where Bale was already acclaimed for American Psycho, and familiar with alot of movie-goers from that Chinese Sun movie he did with Spielberg when he was a kid.
