Two New Images From THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Hit

Two new stills from Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises have been released online. Featuring a new look at Tom Hardy as the villainous Bane and The Bat, the images can be seen after the jump.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.


The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

He actually reminds me a little bit of Jason Vorhees in this picture for some reason. I think it's his stance and stature and that coat is a little reminiscent of Jason's attire. If this is intential that's pretty cool. Definitely a classic movie monster!

I wonder where he is, it looks rather nice. Some cocktail glasses are setup, maybe its Bane's victory party.

@TheManOfSteel1013 They haven't released all that much, especially when compared to the amount of clips we got for Avengers and TASM, outside TV Spots and Trailers.

Yep I really can't wait for a MoS trailer, and hopefully will be with TDKR, but that for me would only add to the awesome factor.

Ha, that's not bad either. He is like a cross between the first Terminator, Jason Vorhees and hanibal lector, lol. All great villains tho. Hoping he is just as menacing!

The banner looks like its for a post apocalyptic zombie movie, complete with "X-treeeeeeeeme" vehicles.
