It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters July 20th. The film stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

HOW DARE YOU HAVE AN OPINION, Preacherfanatic7!!
LOL
FightAs0ne - 7/6/2012, 11:23 AM
@Preacherfanatic7 I agree it doesnt look that good I like the costume in Arkham City better IMO
Fogs - 7/6/2012, 11:23 AM
cotillard has some boobs!

Nolan looks kinda autistic in that shot. you know, like that kin in that bruce willis flick.
Fogs - 7/6/2012, 11:23 AM
**kid
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 11:30 AM
Catwoman actually looks boobtastic in that pic as well...
I just wish she pulled that zipper down and expose her chesty glory like Catwoman does on Arkham City
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 11:31 AM
No offense but that chick you posted has a weird looking face lol
MisterFixit - 7/6/2012, 11:32 AM

AlexDeLarge87 - 7/6/2012, 11:36 AM
MY MY MARION! Birthing did good for you!8)
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 11:40 AM
Idk, maybe its the pose, she looks retarded or something hahaha
FightAs0ne - 7/6/2012, 11:45 AM
@Preacherfanatic7 Ahh Eliza Dushku, nice thats a good choice, especially cause she voiced catwoman in Batman Year One.....
musicsuperhero1 - 7/6/2012, 11:58 AM
@preacherfanatic7....yeah you and i have had this 'conversation' on another thread. I'll just restate...I am a huge fan of Nolan's work and these Batman films...but i realize he is by no means the perfect director and these movies aren't perfect (there's simple no such thing as the perfect director or film). AND even though I'm a huge fan of Nolan and this franchise, that CatWoman suite bugs the crap out of me. It doesn't make sense even for a grounded in reality approach. If you are grounding it in reality it SHOULD look like the Jim Lee version...because a cat-burglar would want to keep their hair covered. ETC. And that doesn't make either of us less of a Batman fan haha (unlike what some people might assert).
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 12:04 PM
ok she looks hot there...Maybe its her facial expression in the other pic that threw me off....

But yeah you got me bro, Id appreciate a few more pics so that i can be fully convinced of her sexiness;)
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 12:06 PM
Lol guys, maybe THATS WHY SHE GETS [frick]ING ARRESTED IN THE MOVIE :P
After that, I dont think she'll need to cover her hair, because everyone will know she's Catwoman anyway
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 12:07 PM
That last Catwoman pic is making my dark knight RISE LOLOL
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 12:18 PM
Oooohh that second to last pic!
Yeah id hit that!;)
hungergamesgal - 7/6/2012, 12:43 PM
STOP WITH THE OSCAR TALK!

Batman is good but Nolan hasn't directed an Oscar worthy film yet. They should focus on Great Gatsby, Lincoln, and Hunger Games for the Oscars this year.
antonio - 7/6/2012, 12:50 PM
@HungerGames Hunger Games Oscar worthy?? LMAO no just no.
musicsuperhero1 - 7/6/2012, 1:14 PM
LOL yeah if the hunger games gets an oscar i'd lose any respect for humanity. That film is good for little high school girls.

@Preacherfanatic7....the critics apparently gave it a standing ovation. So hopefully it delivers. The worry I had, based on Cat Woman's look and this advertising campaign, was that this would be a lazy rehash of what was good from the first two...just to fulfill contract obligations. BUT Nolan and everyone on board say they have something really great...and with it getting a standing ovation at the critics screening, I hope it is great, even Oscar worthy. We'll know in just about 2 weeks. :0
MrReese - 7/6/2012, 1:20 PM
The wait is killing me!!!! XD
zware - 7/6/2012, 1:23 PM
@PreacherFanatic7

This is a movie where you need to act... you know its kinda important and Nolan decided on an Academy Award nominated actress instead of a actress who can't act and was in terrible T.V. shows.... so... ya...
zware - 7/6/2012, 1:25 PM
@hungergamesgal

You can't be serious? You mean the battle royal rip off made for teenage girls that sid-steps all of the moral ambiguous issues?
Tasm1 - 7/6/2012, 1:33 PM
@hungergamesgal. Yeah right! Hunger games will not even be mentioned at the oscars!
zware - 7/6/2012, 1:54 PM
@Preacherfanatic7

John Wayne was in bad films (not to say Hathaway is any sort of amazing actress especially on that level) so just being in bad movies doesn't discount you as an actress. However, being great in a great film, "Rachel getting Married" does show you can act... maybe you should watch it might change your mind.
UrbanKnight - 7/6/2012, 2:15 PM
Oohh La La! Marion!!! Wifey material..Mmm. *motorboats*
Ric - 7/6/2012, 2:19 PM
@ hungergamesgal: "STOP WITH THE OSCAR TALK!

what? Memento, Prestige, The Dark Knight, Inception? Nolan would have deserved it for EVERYONE of those ;)
TheSoulEater - 7/6/2012, 2:32 PM
Cotilard....

zware - 7/6/2012, 2:38 PM
@Intruder

where you been... big tweet reactions came out today like to see how you think it'll suck now.
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 2:39 PM
Here are more reactions
Also, the ending is done very well. I personally did not think it will be too controversial. I think it was pulled off great. It puts a very good ending to Bruce Wayne's story. The very very last scene will cause serious speculation about the future of the franchise, but it is pulled off well. Everyone in the theater applauded at the end."

"It's long but doesn't feel too long. TDKR tops Avengers in every category: acting, writing, cinematography, musical score, direction...but it really does boil down to personal preference. The action in TDKR is not as over-the-top or computerized."

"And Bruce Wayne owns this movie. You guys will be surprised just how badly Bane beats him down, and how epic his journey is."

"The Dark Knight Rises is not only easily the best Batman movie yet, but now one of my favorite movies I've ever seen. It was unbelievable! "

"It's official. #TheDarkKnightRises is ****ing amazing. It received a standing ovation from the screening this morning (all critics)."

"All I can say is....be ready to be hit REAL hard in The Dark Knight Rises. Very emotional and powerful. Blows TDK out of the water."
Supes17 - 7/6/2012, 2:40 PM
I heard the audience was full of paraplegics that got miraculously healed by the experience:P
GingerBird - 7/6/2012, 2:50 PM
Haha Intruder, what a troll asshole that guy is.

All he is Is that nerdy kid that shows up at your birthday party and shits on your cake.

TDKR FTW.
