EXCLUSIVE: First Thor Movie Picture

Here's a first look at several props for Marvel's highly anticipated Thor movie.

After a bit of nudging, a friend in Los Angeles sent over this picture featuring ICE CAP props that will be used in Marvel Studio's upcoming Thor:





Judging by the size of the props in relation to the flatbeds that are hauling them, it looks like Mr. Branagh isn't using miniaturized set pieces to bring the Asgardian landscape to life.

It may not be much (I want to see Mjolnir already to easy my worry) but it's a start. What do you think they could be. . glaciers form one of the Nine Worlds or Frost Giant dandruff?

has anyone found out the whole Del Mar beach shooting? I tried looking it up but so far havent found out when they wll be shooting there. I am ready to take the day off of school and work to go take some pictures or something

I have to say that was rather anti-climactic for me as well.

The list of possible actors is more newsworthy to me. We all tick differently. :-)

The only two out of that list that I could possibly see as Cap are Scott Porter and Patrick Flueger. I realize the list could be for any part in the movie. Correct?

Mjolnir has to slay some Frost Giants of Jottenheim! Plus, if they want to make Loki a son of a Frost Giant, they'd have to have them. These parts may not even be for Jottenheim. None of us know, yet.

True the pictures themselves are really nothing, but it is yet another part of the "wow, this is really going to happen!!!" process. I have been waiting for this movie for a very long time and never actually thought it would really ever happen. Much less did I think that the likes of Sir Anthony Hopkins and Kenneth Branagh would have such pivotal roles in the making of what I hope will soon be a CBM masterpiece. I know that when it comes to Thor, there is usually very little room for gray areas. You either love him or hate him. He is one of my favorite characters and I am really counting the days until this movie comes out.

HahHahhhaha this is all really taking me back. As a kid I use to freeze my Han Solo figures in a plastic cup full of water, then drop him off the roof. I must've fkn destroyed what in todays market would be thousands of dollars in collectibles.

it may just be Ice pictures for Thor but look at how huge they are! as if they got it off the Antartic or Iceland. I gotta say with these big boulders jus imagine how big the set will be.
